I wanna fly

The other day while I was out shopping with Ren and she asked me to get her some red fabric Along with diamond shape fabric that is blue and yellow. 

I knew what she was wanting if so after getting what was needed we headed to a fabric shop and I held her in my arms as she asked the lady for the fabric, then asked for some fabric glue that would hold it all together.

"Are you gonna make a superman cape?" the lady asked

"Yea, cause I am a very huge fan of superman in man of steel, as well as justice league" Ren replied

I smiled as she beamed with pride for her daddy's work.

Once everything was put away Ren and I got started on making and fitting her little cape. After we had the proper fitting we placed the diamond shape fabric down and I used the fabric glue to hold it there before adding the S.

Once it was all done I placed heavy things on top so the glue will hold and dry while Ren and I got cleaned up and I ordered take away for us and Henny when he gets home.

"Do you think daddy will like it?" she asked

"I think he will love it so much he will tear up" I replied

"Why will he be sad?" she asked

"No baby, he wouldn't be sad. Sometimes when you're happy your tear up." I explained

"Oh! ok mommy," she says

Henry had come home and Ren forgot about the cape which is fine it gives me time to go and make sure it's all together and ready for when she remembers it and wants to put it on.

"Mommy, where are you?" Ren calls

"in here baby" I called back 

She walks into the room and smiles.

"Daddy is outside with Kal, so I figured I could slip the cape on over my superman shirt and go show him," she said

"Alright go put the shirt on, then come back. and please Ren be careful" I tell her

After putting the cape on and tieing it so it won't come loose, we head outside where Henry is with Kal.

"Hey daddy," Ren says gaining HEnry's attention

When he sees her little outfit he smiles and tears up.

"I wanna fly like you do as superman, I have my cape so can you help me?" she asks

He nods his head and wipes his eyes before walking over to her and gives her a kiss on the cheek making her smile and give him one back before he lifts her.

I stand there recording Henry flying Ren around the yard as they chase Kal making Ren giggle.

Once they are done flying Henry carries her over while Kal sits in the shade to cool off.

"Did you have fun flying with daddy?" I asked Ren

"Yea, it was fun. and got really exciting when we started chasing Kal" she said 

"Did you tell daddy what you said to the lady at the fabric store?" I asked

She looks at Henry and smiles.

"What did you say?" he asks

"That  I am a very huge fan of superman in the one in man of steel and justice league" she replied

"Thank you so much for that baby," he says as he hugs her tight

She wraps her arms around his neck and hugs him as tight as she can then gives him a big kiss on his cheek.

"Now I got superman and supergirl" I replied

They look at each other and smile before looking at me and nodding.
