Reality fully hits

Sy has been home for some time now and the reality of what could have happened to him hasn't fully hit me.

It was untill we had some dinner with one of his brother's at arms  and their significant other, that it hit me like a ton of bricks. 

They was sitting there talking about different things that they knew they could talk about.

Maumond was talking about how this one kid tried to keep out of the war or some ignorant accuse to do something probably go home so he thought why not slam my hand into a door and break it.

"I heard about that kid and I thought what he done was stupid. I mean if you can't take the war and preperations for what will happen or may happen then why sign up" Sy said 

With that said all at once of what could have happened to him hit me so hard my body jerked as a sob came out.

"You ok baby?" Sy asked

With out looking at them I could tell all eyes was on me.

"Excuse me" I said as I got up and walked away from the table then headed out side where I cried so hard I collopsed on  the bench that the resturant had.

"Baby, talk to me what has you upset?" Sy said as he walked out the resturant and over to me.

"I could have lost you" I said inbetween sobs.

"What? How?" 

"When you were over seas I could have lost you, and the realitity of me loosing you has fully hit me like a ton of bricks and has me freaking out." 

I cried more just thinking of all the bad things that could have happened to him.

"Want to go home?"

 I nodded my head and covered my face.

"Give me one minute to let Mahmoud know whats is going on and I will be right back."

I nodded my head and sniffled as he went back inside.

After Sy came back he helped me up and took me to the car helping me in there then walked around and got in and took me home.

I couldn't for the life of me stop crying. I mean all I could imagine and think about was loosing my husband, my life, my love, my reason for living and It is killing me.

I was close to having a panic attack .

"Hey now look at me ok, focus on me and nothing else."

I blinked the tears away as he wiped the rest. I looked at him link he wanted me to.

"I am here, and I am never going back, I was given honorable discharge so you will never have to worry about loosing me. I love you and I understand where your coming from with your fears. trust me I too feared the same and I had dealt with it with your help when I got here so now allow me to help you with it."

I nodded my head.

He got me to calm down as he talked to me . Once my breathing went back to normal and the tears slowed down some I was able to breath right and talk without gasping for air or anything.

He stripped me down and got me into my night wear before he stripped down to his boxers and got me into bed right and wrapped his arms around me as he held me close and reassured me that I am not gonna loose him and that he fought with everything he had just to get home to me. He told me how much he loves me and how much he apprecaited that I am showing this much affection towards the whole thing. he said that he didn't like that I was near panick attack but from how I was reacting showed him just how much I really care for him and he loves me for it.
