Being a detective's daughter Hazel knew what to expect when she was gonna inform him of her date.
"Mommy how do you think I should tell him?" she asked
"Well you need to be honest" I replied
"I will be," she says
"That is the best way," I tell him.
She nods her head and waits for Walt to get home.
In the meantime, she tells me about where they will be going and what will going on.
"Guys I'm home" Walt calls out
"In the kitchen" I call back
He walks in and greets us both with a kiss on the cheek.
"What are you girls up to?" he askes
"Well daddy, I have a date today and I am hoping you will be ok with it," Hazel says
" Have we met him, do we know him?" Walt asks
"Well yes, you've met him and know him. He is Rachel's nephew" Hazel says
"You mean Robin? " Walt askes
"Yeah," Hazel says
"What is to happen on this date?" Walt asks
"Well he is taking me to dinner and then star gazing" she replied
He looks at her with his arms folded.
"You do know that when I see him I will make him scared right?"
She sighs and looks at me.
"It's that or you stay home and never date till thirty-five."
She looks at him and nods.
"Alright Daddy," she says

While Hazel was getting ready Walt was running multiple background checks on Robin.
"Walt you have met him and said you like him," I say
"Well that was before, he wanted to date my daughter" he replied
"Our daughter. and he isn't a bad kid, he is related to Rachel and I am sure that he knows if he gets in trouble he will have to wind up in the police station with a huge record" I state
"Right sorry, baby our daughter," he replied
He keeps running background checks despite what I said.
So I head upstairs to check on Hazel and see how she is doing.
"Hey, baby how is everything going?" I asked as I sat on her bed.
"It's going good, I found an outfit and now I just have to get my makeup and hair done then I will be ready," she says as she walks out of her closet.
"Wow baby you look really beautiful" I comment
"thank you, momma," she says
"Welcome" I reply
After she applies her makeup and does her hair we head downstairs and can hear Walt talking with Robin.
"I hope he dont scares him too much, I really like him," Hazel says
"I hope so to baby," I tell her.
We walk up to where Walt and RObin stood and Robin saw Hazel and smiles.
"Woah," he says
Walt looks over to where we are standing and he smiles.
"You look, beautiful baby girl," he tells her as he walks over and kisses her cheek.
"Thank you, daddy," she says
I smiled as I watch the two before I walk over to Walt and wrap my arm around him as Hazel walks over to Robin and smiles as she links her arm with him.
"Ready to go?" Robin asks
"Yea, let's go" she replies
"Be home by ten" Walt tells her
"I promise she will be home by ten," Robin says as they leave.
