Baby on the run

Henry has made it an everyday thing while at home that he will take Esme on a run with him and Kal.

He called me up when he was away for filming and asked if I could go and buy a baby carrier or sling for Esme so when he gets home he can take her for his morning run.

So I headed to the local baby store and bought a carrier that was grey, white, and blueish grey with designs on it. It didnt has buckles that could catch her by accident it had soft straps that were adjustable.

When I had shown him which one I got he wanted to test it right away and make sure that she would fit so he put it on then I slipped Esme in and we got her situated and I stood back and looked at the two and smiled before snapping a picture.

"Awe so adorable. now daddy has a running buddy beside Kal" I said as I soothed Esme's hair back.

"Thank you for this" Henry says

"your welcome darling," I tell him and kiss him before I headed off to work.

I stood there watching Henry as he slips Esme in the carrier and made sure that the straps whee tied tight enough where they wouldnt come loose.

"Good to go?" I asked

He looks over at me and fixes his hat and smiles.

"Yea we are" he replied

I walked over and give both of them kisses before he called for Kal and got him hooked on his lead.

"You two be careful, and Kal you make sure they stay outta trouble," I say as they walk out the door.

"We will, and trust me he does" Henry replied before shutting the door.

I went and started on the laundry before deciding on a bath while I waited for the trio to return.

I know he will be recording a video and send it to me if not do a video call.

I headed into the living room right when my phone started going off.

I picked it up and answered the call from Henry.

"Hi love, Hi Esme and Kal" I greet

"He darling, just letting you know this sling is amazing, she has slept for quite a while and I am having no issues with the straps," Henry tells me.

"Well the lady at the store said it was one of the most recomened if the parent wanted to go running. So I knew it would work best for you" I replied

"It's a product that I am glad you bought," he says.

"I am glad that you're not having issues with it."

We talk a bit more before hanging up since I knew he was on his way back I started making breakfast.

Henry walked in with Kal and Esme right when I finished plating the food.

"Right on time to eat breakfast baby," I tell him

" Let me go and lay her down and get cleaned up then I'll join you," he says before heading off upstairs to lay Esme in her crib and freshen up while Kal gets some water and food.

Once he comes back down I noticed he was carrying the carrier before he placed it in the coat closet so when he goes out for another run he could grab it.

"Now you have a daily routine before your run"I comment as he sits down and joins me for breakfast.

He looks at me and smiles.

"Next person to join me for my run is you" he states

"I love you but no. me and running are enemies" I reply which makes him laugh.

"I will eventually get you to run with me."

"we'll see."

He nodded and went back to eating.

"In the meantime just enjoy having Esme with you," I tell him

"Oh, I do. her little face, when she sees different things, is adorable. I made three videos of her facial expressions I am gonna put up on the gram."

"Can't wait to see em."

I should go do that now" he says then excuses himself and walks off with the baby monitor in his pocket.
