Baby's 1st bath (Will)

I looked at Will as he prepped everything for Amelia's first bath. 

"Alright so how are we gonna do this. I mean we can either hold her while the other bathes her since the baby tub broke?" I asked

He stood up and looked at me.

"Well I could help by bathing her while you hold her" he suggests

"Alright, go get her and I will get the tub ready as well as myself," I said 

He headed off to get our baby girl while I stripped down.

I could hear giggling in the bedroom as I looked over all the things making sure that Amelia's shampoo & conditioner, as well as body wash, was on the tub while her little bath rug and towel were close by.

"Alright mommy we are here and ready to play as well as bathe," Will says

"Well come on," I said as I slipped into the tub and reached for Amelia.

"I am so jealous, she gets to bathe with you," Will says

"I smiled

"You've showered with me plenty of times which is how we got this beautiful angle," I say as Amelia starts slapping the water in excitement.

Shaking his head he looked at me while smiling.

He started to bathe her after I moved her around getting her better situated.

I watched as she just watched as her daddy bathed her and half the time she would slap the water and slash him then laugh when he would make faces.

When he got to her hair she sat very still while I covered her eyes to keep the shampoo out of her eyes.

Once she was bathed and ready to go Will wrapped her in her towel and took off with her.

"Thanks, babe for leaving me to deal with the rest" I called out

"Sorry, but one of us has to get her dried and dressed before she gets sick" he replied back

I smiled and shook my head as I let the water out and climbed out of the tub drying myself off.

"The first time bathing her went way much better than I feared or thought it to go," Will says once Amelia was laying her crib napping.

"Why? how did you think it would've gone?" I asked

"Well I thought the little tub would've been dangerous. and that she would've hurt her head. or the tub would've been to full and she would've drowned," he said 

"Well, it's a good thing that it broke and her mommy held her as her daddy bathed here huh?" I asked

He nodded his head.

"I actually am more comfortable with bathing her that way than in a little tub. cause I know you would never allow her to get harmed," he says

"Whether it's in a little tub or me bathing her she would never get hurt casue we wouldn't allow it. But I understand where your coming from I had the same fear" I tell him.
