We want a baby (part 2)

When Wat and I went to the doctor we got the great news that I was in fact pregnant.

We were over the moon excited.I was emotional , Walt was emotional it was an experince we was ready for.

Once we set up the ultrasound appointment things became very much real. We know that one day we'd go to the doctor and hear our baby's heartbeat which would make us more emotional than finding out about being pregnant.

I am now eight in a half months pregnant and we decided to name our baby girl Grace ann Walter. 

I have taken maternity leave from work once I reached six months and Walt has cut down on shifts so that he could be home with me should anything happen to either of his girls.

We shared the news with our friends and they all said finally or about time then they all asked if we were gonna throw a baby shower and I told them it wouldnt be huge just a few friends maybe twelve if that. 

Which they all understood how we wanted things to go.

The baby shower was fun, and for once I got to experince along side Walt the pleasure of being on the parent end of the shower and not the friend end.

Walt and I had talked about what type of birthing we would do, and that c-section would be for a have to case like our baby girl being breeched or cord wrapped around her throat.

We went to the ultrsound the other day and Grace was being a little lady making sure her bits was covered which made me and Walt chuckle while the tech just smiled and took the pictures.

Now here I sit in the rocking shair holding Grace as I rock her to sleep while Walt stands in the door way watching he two girls.

"Wanna lay her down?" I asked

He nodded and walked over carefully takeing her into his arms and laid her in her crib. kissing her softly goodnight before we walked out the room making sure the monitor was on.

I laid curled up next to Walt.

"Did you ever thing that someone so perfect would ever be ours?" he asks

"Well if she is anything like you then yes." I replied as I looked up at him and smiled before he kissed me and laid back down.

"I hope she has your spunk" he says.

"I hopes she has your additude, whit,and everything else" I replied.

He smiles.

"Thank you for experincing this journey with me."

"I couldn't want it with any other person."

With that said we laid there and went to sleep till Grace woke up and cried for some milk which Walt would go and get her change her butt if needed then bring her to me.

Experinceing being a papernt with my husband is a dream we both wished for and finally got. and we couldn't be any more happier.
