Miraculously, Callum managed to sleep through the whole exorcism. He'd had the most marvellous dream. There was a beautiful young woman, with light brown hair and the same eye color as Callum.

And now the young boy was sat in the back of the Impala as Dean drove down a long road in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

"Will you be back before Christmas?" Callum asked. It was a fair question, seeing as they were nearing the middle of December.

"I'll make sure we are, kid." Dean assured him. "Even if we have to leave afterwards. I promise."

"And will you be back for my birthday?" Callum added.

"Callum, we won't be gone that long." Dean chuckled as they pulled into Bobby Singer's scrapyard. "We'll be back well before that."

After parking, Dean climbed out of the Impala and lifted Callum out, making sure to grab Cosmo before grabbing the young boy's bag.

Callum held onto his father as they reached the door, the man knocking.

Moments later, the familiar face of Bobby Singer appeared.

"Thanks for agreeing to take him for a bit, Bobby." Dean said, placing the boy down.

"Ah, it's nothing." Bobby assured him. "I'll always be up for taking Callum."

About a year and a half ago, Bobby had had a falling out with John Winchester, and they hadn't even called Bobby since. Callum still recognised the bearded man.

Bobby looked at the young boy, a warm smile on his face. In an instant, Callum had flung his arms around the man, who lifted him off of the ground.

"Last I saw you, you were barely up to your daddy's knees." Bobby told him. "You're gonna be my height before you know it."

"Uncle Sammy said I might be taller than him soon, Uncle Bobby!" Callum said eagerly.

Bobby led Dean inside with Callum's bag, the young boy still holding onto Bobby. They stopped in the man's living room, Dean placing the bag onto the couch.

"You be good for Bobby, all right, Cal?" Dean told the boy as Bobby placed him down.

"I will." Callum grinned, stepping towards his dad as he knelt down to hug the boy. "I love you, Daddy." The boy said.

"Love you too, kiddo." Dean told him, placing a gentle kiss onto his forehead.

So Dean left, leaving his five year old with Bobby, a man who'd been like a second father to both Sam and Dean.

Bobby had decided to take Callum to a small park in town for something he'd done with both Sam and Dean. To play baseball. Sam had been around the same age as Callum when Bobby had taken him, and Dean had been a little older, maybe around eight or nine.

"What're we gonna do, Uncle Bobby?" Callum asked as they walked, the small boy holding the baseball whilst Bobby carried a bat and glove.

"We're gonna play baseball. I did this with your daddy and your Uncle Sam." Bobby explained. "Except John would've been pissed if he found out, but I know Dean won't care. Wants you to have as normal a childhood as possible."

And Bobby began to teach him to play. Maybe an hour later, the boy held the bat, as Bobby threw the ball, Callum hitting it as hard as he could.
