Damian
Day 11
They found the guy that hit you and Melanie. Your mom was right; he was drunk. Dumbass didn't realize that the traffic camera caught his license plate so tracking him down was easy. Your mom is doing some legal stuff with him before he goes to prison. Apparently, he cried when she served but he should've expected it.
I have other good news though. Your bruises and cuts are beginning to heal. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal but it is to me. I just want things to go back to the way they are. It feels weird being without you and knowing that you're safe at home. It's even weirder seeing you hooked up to those machines.
Going into hospitals is weird for me. It's just weird that a hospital can bring and revive life but also host the ability to watch people die.
I'm scared of losing you, Naomi. I don't know when you're going to wake up. I don't know when we're going to get back to our lives. Melanie is slipping. She started seeing a therapist. They think she has survivors guilt. I can understand that.
I felt as though it should've been me.
