Lauren's POV
Camila walked in and I opened my arms for her to lay down.
- Everything okay?
- Yeah, Chris came to talk about the album... I told him I don't want to release it
I looked at her surprised.
- What you mean?
- I mean I don't want to release the songs I made about an imaginary boyfriend that I only had in my mind. I want to be honest with myself and with my fans, so I'll have to do it all again, from zero
I didn't know what to say. When you're an artist and you sign a contract you get stuck into it, you have to follow every word of it, so what Camila's doing is very brave.
- How much time do you have?
- Two months
- Oh my god Camila, you're crazy
- Yeah... I'll start tomorrow, I feel sleepy already
I just had to wait about ten minutes until Camila fell asleep, then I got out of bed very carefully to not wake her up and went downstairs. Sofi was on the living room, I wanted to talk to her.
- Hey, can I ask you something?
She looked at me curious.
- Yeah, sure
- Camila's birthday is in two days, right? - she nodded, confirming it - and are you going to do a party or something?
Sofi pointed to the couch for me to sit, which I did.
- Yeah, about it... She doesn't like her birthday
I looked at Sofi a little surprised. That's not what I expected.
- When did it change?
- About four, three years ago. She asked us to stop doing parties, so that's what we did. To be honest the last two years she wasn't with us, but with Shawn in New York, so...
- Why did she asked to stop celebrating?
- I think... I can't tell you that. You're gonna have to ask her
- Okay. Thanks Sofi
I walked upstairs with a lot on my mind. Camila's favorite day was her birthday... I guess these eight years changed much more than I thought.
Camila was sleeping on the same position I left her. I lay down by her side slowly, trying not to wake her up, and couldn't stop thinking about how I definitely still have a lot to know about her.
...
The sun was coming in through the window when I woke up. Today is finally Camila's birthday.
These past days she didn't say a thing about it, which is weird because on old times she used to tell us a month earlier to make sure we wouldn't forget.
I know she doesn't want a party, I won't do it. But I can't say it will be an normal day...
I woke up earlier and went to the kitchen, where Sinu, Sofi and Alejandro were reunited preparing an amazing breakfast. I helped them out, then came back to the bedroom to wake the birthday girl but she had woken up already, she was on the bathroom. I waited for her impatient until she finally came out.
- Hi Lo, where were you? - she asked coming in my direction.
- I woke up earlier and didn't want to wake you up, so I went downstairs for a bit
