Lauren's POV

I was waiting for a call on my mom's couch. I asked Camila to call me when it's time for me to pick her up, but I guess she's taking too long to say goodbye to her family. I'm so glad I considered we'd be late when I planned the whole thing.

- You okay?

My mom asked. I know she was crying on her bedroom. I've been here for a while, I can imagine it sucks to see me walk away again.

- A little sad to see you going, but okay

- What I think is that you and Camila will have the best time of your lives. If they'll be there or not, I can't tell you, but I'm sure you'll be so happy on your love bubble that you won't even notice

My mom stared to the door, which made me curious to look at it. Lucy was there.

Clara went to the kitchen and I got up, looking directly to Lucy's eyes.

- Heard you leaving

My phone vibrated. I didn't look but I'm sure it's Camila. Lucy looked right at my eyes for the first time since she came in.

- Well, I'll let you go.

It was silence for a moment. I believe she's talking about a lot more than this moment.

- A hug couldn't hurt

She was surprised, but walked to me and gave me a hug. It couldn't be more familiar and more distant. This is what we are now.

Even though I hate goodbyes, this one I've been waiting to say.

- Camz I can't believe you don't have a sweater with you, you know it'll be cold in Paris

Our plane didn't even take off and I was already mad.

- I forgot

She had her puppy face on and I'm sure she was about to ask for my sweater when I got up and took a extra one I was taking for her.

The pilot's voice said we'll leave now, so I sat back. Camila was looking at the window as the plane moved slowly. And I was looking at her.

- When we are about to fly. It's like magic, don't you think?

Camila's POV

The airbnb Lauren rent for us was just amazing. We have a full view of
the Eiffel Tower and even a jacuzzi!

- It's like we are in honeymoon but like... before the wedding - I said.

Lauren looked at me smiling.

- You wanna take a walk? Maybe look at the tower a little closer

I looked at a clock on the wall. It was 5 pm.

- I think there's something else I want to look a little closer...

I love how Lauren's expression can change from absolutely cute to hot as fuck in a second. And I can't fucking resist.

- Well, I'm going to the jacuzzi...
