[3 days left for Tsurugi's arrival back in Japan]

Morning classes had ended with a long sigh from everyone, that's cuz we just had a pop quiz that everyone didn't study for...

I put my pens back in my pencil case as I heard Amemiya's stretching grunts from my right.

"That hella of a quiz sure knocked me out." He muttered then turned in his chair to face me, "We have lunch break now, let's head to the canteen!" He said with a bright smile.

I smiled back at him and nodded while standing up.

Maybe he has changed after all, he seems way nicer these days.

We reached the canteen and were currently waiting in line...

"Hm? I don't see your friend anywhere." Amemiya stated looking around the cafeteria.

"Yeah I didn't see him today at all...I think he's absent." I answered and moved forward as the line got a step ahead.

'Absent? Perfect...' Amemiya thought trying to hide his grin.

We got our food and I went to get us a table while Amemiya was waiting for our drinks, a few minutes later, he walked towards my direction and seated himself next to me as we began to eat.

Amemiya was munching on his sandwich while looking around him randomly as I did the same, we were pretty much silent except for our chewing noises.

I took a sip of my drink and continued eating my food until the bell rang and that was when I had just drank the last drop of my drink.

"Haaaa that was refreshing!" I exclaimed while setting the empty cup down. Amemiya giggled a bit then stood up and said, "Let's head back to class y/n."

I nodded and we both went back to class for the afternoon lessons.

Classes were finally over!

We just finished our last class which was chemistry and as usual, Amemiya was the one to finish his experiments first with excellent results.

He's really good in dealing with chemicals! Unlike me...(Same y/n same)

It was time to head home now so I packed my stuff and walked outside the classroom but a voice calling my name stopped me in the middle of the hallway..

"Hey y/n! Wait up!" It was no mistake...that was Amemiya's voice...

I turned and smiled awkwardly at him as Tsurugi's words lingered in my head:

"Don't ever walk alone with him y/n got it? Never."

"Since Hakuryuu isn't here today, let me walk you home. My house is in the same direction anyway!" He said with a smile.

Now what....? Tsurugi warned me not to walk alone with him but now he's asking me to walk home together....how should I refuse without sounding rude?!

"I-It's fine Amemiya, really, I can walk alone!" I tried but he just grabbed my hand and started walking towards the school's exit...

"It's no big deal, c'mon!" He said as I sighed.

Well, nothing will happen if I just walk with him once...plus he seems nicer now apart from his attitude before sooooo....

I guess it'll be fine!

We were walking in the same path I take everyday back home but something felt...weird.
