Another rainy day but this time a rainy day in Maui.
The rain is what brought Taehyung and I in from the beach.
I'm not sure how long we were there, but during the middle of our conversations and cuddling, we fell asleep, only to be awaken later by the heavy drops of heaven's tears.
Even at the feel of the liquid nature, we didn't rush. We took our time and walked back to my patio door. I insisted for Taehyung to come inside but being the gentleman he was, he decided to walk around to the front and entered there, after kissing me goodnight and said that we have the rest of the day together.
That made me smile more inside than out.
Still lying in bed even after Yoongi told me that breakfast was ready, I could hardly move. I just wanted to lie here and think of him. Closing my eyes, I could still envision our kiss, each one growing more vivid than the last and sweeter from the memory of taste.
I'm missing his lips now.
A sudden vibration of my phone alerted me. I turned over and lifted it from my nightstand to see it was my brother calling.
"Hello?"
"Sis? What's up?"
I sat up from my comfy position. "Nothing Levi. What are doing?"
"The wife and I were headed out and I wanted to check on you. I hadn't heard from you and I was wondering if you'd snuck out of the country with your boyfriend."
I could hear the grin on Levi's face.
"He's not my boyfriend." I rolled my eyes.
"Okay, well fiancé then." He chuckled.
"Did you call me just to annoy me?" I asked, fidgeting with my comforter.
"Of course I did but we really were wondering if you're engaged yet. Just wanted to know where you were on the wedding plans."
I drew out a long sigh. "You're running out."
"Come on Kye, you can't tell me you don't like this guy." Levi pressed.
Like him? Of course, but it's a little more than that, though I haven't told him how much more yet. "Of course I like him Levi. We've been friends for over ten years. What's there not to like?" I smirked as I relieved myself from the warmth of my comfort and stood away from the bed.
"You know what I mean Kye. Taehyung wouldn't have brought you all the way to Hawaii if he didn't think that you had some sort of feelings for him, or hoped."
I froze in place recalling my brother's words. Unsure why but hearing my brother saying his name stalled my thoughts.
"Kye?"
My pause must have been longer than it seemed when I heard Levi calling me.
"Hmm?"
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Y-Yeah...It was just weird to hear you say his name. I don't think I've ever heard you call him anything other than that guy you write to. Thank you for acknowledging him." I was really was thankful for this.
A knock on my door startled me.
"Levi, I have to go. I'll call you later, okay?"
"Okay. See you sis!" He hung up.
Making sure the call was gone, I placed the phone back on my nightstand and flew to the mirror, checking to see if I looked passable cute for the morning. Not very satisfied, I opened the door anyway to see him standing behind it, looking comfy and casual. A tiny look of worry but a cute little pout adorned his adorable face.
