39. Beginning

Kye's Point of View

If I were to describe my feelings, there wouldn't be any words that could fathom the emotions swirling in this moment. When people say they feel as if they are floating or having an outer body experience, I now understand these descriptions with my whole heart. I can't believe that I'm here, not just the wedding or Korea but here, surrounded by love, experiencing love and in love.

Is it real?

I'm reminded when I glance at the happy and smiling man next me. He's the epitome of the emotion I'm feeling.

Real, definitely. How do I know? Because, I've been reunited with my first love.

Euna and Hobi's wedding was beautiful. It was truly a fairytale ending for the most heartfelt love story I've ever heard.

Someone should record this for history.

Love radiated within them and my heart flipped in happiness for them. The week I was here, getting to know her better and hearing her love story, assured me that I made the right decision in coming here. She inspired me to fight harder for my own love.

It was hard at first.

Taehyung called me numerous times but I didn't answer him. I couldn't let him know I was here until Euna was sure that the information she acquired about her dad was legit. It pained her deeply to learn the truth but she viewed it as a blessing as well. It was hard for her to hold this from Hobi just like it was hard for me not to contact Taehyung but in the end, it was worth it.

Now here we are, sitting at the table with his closest friends, among those are K-Kim Seokjin! I think I'm going to pass out if I make a single eye contact with him. I can't believe Taehyung knew him all this time. He will be punished later for this secret.

"So Kye, are you hanging around for awhile?" The one named Jungkook asked as he held his hand tightly inside Namjoon's. Next to him was Jimin, then Yoongi and then...gosh I can't say his name without my heart bursting.

I think I'm getting better at learning them.

Biting down on my lower lip, I glanced over at Taehyung, "maybe for a little while." I answered.

"She's not going anywhere." Taehyung spoke quickly after me, making the guests at the table chuckle.

"If you get tired of him Kye, you can always look me up." Seokjin winked before blowing a kiss.

My. Heart. Stopped.

"I-I-..."

"Really Jin?" Taehyung rolled his eyes as he grabbed my hand.

His jealously is cute.

Jin laughed. Gosh, even that was beautiful.

"Excuse us." Taehyung spoke as he stood up and peered down at me. "Come with me." He smiled.

I bowed at the others respectfully before rising from seat and followed him. On our way towards the terrace, we were stopped by Euna and Hobi.

Taehyung released my hand and met Euna with an embrace. The moment she closed her eyes, a single tear fell from the corner of it. My heart filled as I can only imagine Taehyung's emotions were reciprocating.

"Thank you so much Euna." He spoke as they eased away from one another.

"I should be thanking you." Euna smiled. "Also, I'm sorry that I will have to cancel our honeymoon but I don't think my husband would approve." She teased. "However..." She glanced over at Hobi who retrieved an envelope from his pocket and handed it to Taehyung. "I think you and Kye should enjoy Málaga." She smiled.

Taehyung gasped as he took the envelope from Hobi. "Are you serious? What about you two?"

"I have a surprise waiting for my husband. Don't worry, I will be back in two weeks as promised and ready to work for you CEO Kim." Euna grinned.

Shock succumbed me so much that I didn't even realize Euna reached in to hug me. Somehow, I regained my bearings to hug her back. "I hope this will be the beginning of a great friendship Kye. I owe you so much." Euna whispered.

"Not as much as I owe you."

Drawing back from the hug, she gathered her dress in her hands. "Have fun you two." She nodded as she and Hobi made their way over to other guests.

Taehyung turned to me and smiled. "Wow! This definitely topped my plan for us."

I lifted a brow. "You were planning another trip?"

His smile was his reply as he took my hand and lead me out to the terrace. Though the weather will chilly, the fire pits surrounding the area kept the space warm.

I rested my hands on the rail, peering out at the city surrounding us. Taehyung wrapped his arms around me, lips tenderly brushing my skin. His touch ignited a fire within me, sealing the warmth around us.

"So how long have you been here?" He asked.

"Almost two weeks."

"Hmm..." He hummed. "So you've been avoiding me in my country for two weeks?"

Releasing a long sigh, I smiled afterwards. "With good reason of course."

"Lucky for you, I'll let it slide." He hugged me tighter. "I missed you so much." He whispered.

"I missed you too Taehyung. How have you been?"

There was a long pause before Taehyung cleared his throat.

"Dearest Kye.." He began. Tears were instant in my eyes.

"Days have been rough. Nights were even more tough. Time was unkind so I can only imagine what it's been like for you. I've cursed fate numerous times and prayed all in the same, but it was worth it. The fact that I am holding you in this moment is proof that miracles do happen and prayers can be answered. Don't think I'm letting you go so easily."

I released a quiet chuckle before I felt his hold to me softened. Taehyung turned me toward him. Circling his hands around my waist, he hugged me closer to him and rested his forehead to mine.

"Time is now smiling on me and this will be our beginning. You have crossed over to my sea and I have you here just as I always wanted you. I will build a life for us and give you all the things you deserve. I will make you my wife and you will give me lots of kids." He grinned. "To know is to have lived. To live is to have life. Life starts with you Kye and our time will go on forever: years, months and decades, but tonight, let's start with Málaga. Sincerely...No, love Taehyung."

The rapid beating of my heart has drowned out my senses as my gaze fell to his lips.

"I love you Taehyung."

His lips swept mine for a loving kiss, mixed with the salty emotion streaming down his face and mine.

"I love you Kye."

Lifting up, I brushed the tears away from his face and smiled. "Oh my gosh! Are we really going to Spain?"

Taehyung pulled the envelope from his coat. "Looks like we are. Ready to go?"

My hands filtered through is hair, as I admired the gleam in his eye. "I'm ready to go any and every where with you."
