Taehyung's Point of View
***
"What is the meaning of this?" Mr. Seung inquired, eyes scanning the document in hand.
"The meaning of this is show why there is no need for Taehyung and I to be married. Read it carefully father. This document is stating that you are no longer the owner of Seung Incorporated." Euna glanced over at me. "Taehyung is." She smiled.
Mr. Seung erupted in laughter. "My dear, that has been the plan all along." He stated. "Once you two are married, it will be a family business."
Euna shook her head. "No, it won't."
Yoongi winked at me as Euna plowed through her explanation. Apparently my idea of looking into her father's company financials was a smart thing. He's been skimming money unknowingly within the company in order to pay a hefty debt owed to various banks and lenders. Euna discovered this and took it to Yoongi, who realized this was the reason our Hawaii deal fell through.
"Seung Incorporated was on the urge of bankruptcy. You were taking from different departments throughout the company and you didn't have the cash flow to pay your debt. How could you father? How could you rob your own company, your employees and clients?" Euna asked.
Mr. Seung cleared his throat. "I did what I had to do to keep us afloat."
"Even if that meant making deals under false pretenses with Kim Corporation to save their financial losses when you knew you couldn't?"
A grave expression fell onto my father's face before he turned his attention to Mr. Seung. "You were going to let me fail when I came to you for help?" He roared.
"Dad..." I called. My mother rested her hand on his arm to calm him.
"I knew once our families combined, it would be resolved at some point." Mr. Seung stated in a nonchalant tone.
"At some point? If my son couldn't fixed this, all the blame would be on him and then what? You'd make him a criminal?" Dad wondered.
Mr. Seung turned to Euna. "I did what I had to do for our family."
I couldn't help but be reminded of a similar thought, minus the criminal activity.
"Hmm..." Euna hummed. "Now, I'm doing what I have to do for my family." She took the document from her father and handed it to Yoongi, who sealed it before returning it back to Euna.
"Mr. Kim sir, I have copies for you as well. Taehyung and I will make sure all your losses will be recovered." Yoongi assured.
Dad bowed to Yoongi in thanks.
My head spun so much that I couldn't keep track of a single thought as Euna continued to take the lead.
"Taehyung already has the signed documents stating his purchase of the company. His adviser was kind enough to oversee his any of his business as directed by Taehyung if needed, not to mention, paid off the debt while reinstating any money loss from your unethical practices." Euna addressed her father.
"The email Euna sent." I mumbled, glancing over at Yoongi. "The one that I wasn't supposed to open til today."
"They are your signed copies Taehyung. Have them sent to your lawyer." Euna explained as she moved closer to her parents along with mine, bowing to them in respect. "I'm sorry Mr. Kim for my father's deceit." She glanced back at me, "Taehyung has done an amazing job with both companies and I forsee nothing but great things going forward, with my help of course." She smiled at me before addressing my father once more. "He was definitely the best choice for this."
