CHAPTER 25

Chapter 25.

Inihatid ako ni damon sa parking lot nila kasama ang mga barkada niyang kanina pa kami tinutukso. Lalo na si damon dahil ganoon nalang daw siya mag-effort sa'kin.

Some students were looking at us. Especially me because I'm holding a boquet of flowers given by damon who's just right beside me and holding my waist. I can't help not to smile. I'm just too happy for this day.

It's almost lunch time, so I needed to go back to school. I need to check my schedules also. I'm torn between staying there and listen into some discussions by our prof. or just take a rest at home.

"Amber, maiwan ka na namin dito. We needed to go back now so I can inform our principal that you've done your work today." agad na sabi ni jhaydee nang makarating kami sa tapat ng kotse ko.

Agad akong lumingon sakanya ng may ngiti sa labi at agad na tumango. Ngumiti nalang din ito pabalik sa akin. Nilingon ko si damon at makikita sa kanyang mata ang saya. Ganoon din naman ang nararamdaman ko.

"We need to go now." nakangiting sabi ni damon sa'kin.

I just nodded and smile at him widely. He gave me quick kiss on my forehead and hug me. I hug him back. He wave his hand and so am I. Kumaway na rin at nagpaalam sila stanley sa'kin.

I just watched them turns back at me. I stared at damon's back. I smiled again 'coz I can't stop but to remember how effort he was earlier. I didn't expect that Jax Damon Gonzales did that thing.

I know that for him, it's so cringe and not so him. I just want to laugh do hard because of that but I can not. He's just so sweet. I turned back and walk towards the other side of the car. I opened the door of my passenger seat and put the flowers inside of it.

I wanted to laugh because I was just too careful with my flowers. I bit my lips to stop myself from smiling. Hinawakan ko ang kwintas na ibinigay ni damon sa'kin at tinignan 'yon. Gustohin ko mang pigilan ang ngiti ko ay hindi ko na nakaya.

"How's the surprise?" I rolled my eyes when I heard the voice of brendallie. Nilingon ko ito at kasama pa nito ang mga alipores niya.

"Too much effort and I love it." sabi ko sakanya. I gave her my sweetest smile and I wanted to laugh because I can see through her eyes that she's irritated with me.

"Too much effort? Huh? Damon is like that into every girl that he wanted to play with. I don't know why do you keep on pushing yourself onto him? Like, you're not that beautiful. I don't like you for him. Don't be too comfortable, sweetheart." sabi nito sa'kin at ngumisi pa.

Si damon? Ganoon mag-effort sa kahit sinong mapaglaruan niya? Nakaramdam ako ng pagkadismaya ngunit hindi ko ipinahalata 'yon kay brendallie. Ngumiti pa rin ako.

"You don't like me for him? Ask me if I also like you for him." I said and turned back at her. I smirked and immediately get back inside of my car. I started my engine. I look at brendallie and she looks back at me looking so unbelievable of what I have just said awhile ago.

"And oh, Your opinion about me, you can keep. I don't really need it." I winkedat her and smile sweetly. I started to drove off with a smile in my face.

I'm on my way to school but before that I stopped by on the near fast food chain. I just ordered iced coffee and a burger. Kinakain ko 'yon habang nagmamaneho. Inalis ko sa isipan ko ang sinabi ni brendallie. Masyadong maganda ang araw ko para lang masira niya 'yon ng basta-basta.

Ilang minuto lang ay nakarating na ako sa school. Pinark ko kaagad ang kotse ko. Iniwan ko rin ang bulaklak na ibinigay sa'kin ni damon. Ayokong masira 'yon. Kinuha ko na ang kinakain ko. Napagdesisyonan kong eto na lang rin ang lunch ko sa araw na 'to. I'm too lazy to eat a lot.
