CHAPTER 29: POLICE, KILLER, VICTIM

March was almost over! And here we are... bored. I think it was kinda lame dahil hindi pa namin vacation unlike the other school. But anyways, the teachers had distributed our report cards and gladly I passed.

I was just sitting quietly. Well, nakakapanibago kapag hindi ako ginugulo ng Ogre na 'yon. It feels so boring pala kapag wala siya-I mean... Walang makulit and papansin which even makes my day happy.

I looked at my classmates and they kinda have this look which is sleepy. Hmmm, let me see what I can do to brighten up their day.

I took my uno cards in my bag and asked them. "Let's play, KILLER, POLICE, VICTIM. Who's with me?"

"C'MON!' they cheered and darted towards me.

"I'M IN!'

"C'MON! LET'S PLAY I'M BORED!'

"Here at the front." I uttered. We settle down on the floor right behind the wall. There are 15 of us and nakapaikot kami ngayon.

"Give me." Donnalyn said, our class president. She took the cards and began to shuffle it. "NO CHEATING."

Shuffle shuffle shuffle...

She was about to distribute it ng magsalita ako. "Walang madaya!" I protested dahil bumubwelo na sila para makuha ang best card which is the KILLER and POLICE card! They didn't listen to me instead they just chuckled!

Then Donnalyn began to count. "One, two, three!"

Pagkasabi na pagkasabi niya agad akong humablot ng card and quickly hid it under my leg. I'm really fast dahil nakikipag-agawan pa rin sila. Kulang na lang lumangoy sila sa sahig-halos maipit na 'yung iba.

"Ouch!" nagkakasakitan na.

"And daya ni Xander! Cheater!" Jessica protests.

"What?! I had it first!"

"Ako ang unang nakahawak non!"

I peek on my card and OH MY GOSH! I GOT THE BEST CARD THAT EVERYONE WANTS! GOSH.... KILLER IT IS.

Hindi pa sila nakakabalik sa tamang pwesto ng may nagbagsak agad ng dalawang card. "WHAT?!" I gasped. WHAT THE HECK?! Who could that be?! Hindi naman ako 'yon.

"Damn! That was quick!" they snarled furiously. "Really quick!"

"Who's the SERIAL KILLER?" Karla growled trying to guess who the killer is. "Who's that damn killer?"

We stare at each other trying to spot kung sino ba sa kanila ang victim. Kapag innocent or victim ang nakuha mo umiwas ka na ng tingin or else you will be dead. Based on what I observed right now, they're really professional at winking. Halos hindi na pumipikit 'yung mata nila, instead kumikirat na lang sila para hindi mahalata ng may hawak ng police card. Akala ba nila sila lang? Well, magaling din kaya ako. Dito ako natuto kumindat ng hindi nahahalata.

"HAAAY NAKO! ANG BORING MAGING CITIZEEEN!" Xander yelled. Hah! Kapag bad luck ka nga talaga, siya na nga 'tong nakipag-agawan siya pa ang nakakuha ng victim card.

"Wag ka na nga sumali kung irereveal mo rin naman pala sa'yo." Donnalyn scowled at her.

"Citizen is laaaaaaaame."

"You joined the game kasi bored ka, but you got even bored kasi nakuha mo ang lamest card which is the victim." Martha said which earn a giggled of them.

Someone drop their card again, 6 na lang ang natitirang victim since tatlo na ang namatay.

Whoever the killer is must be enjoying it right now.
