A/N I decided to write the final part of my little multi-part story today, hope you guys like it. Comments and and suggestions for what to write are always welcome! -IC

Magnus looked at Alec's limp body and then over at Simon. "Call Catarina, she'll take care of the werewolves and then call Jace and them and tell them I'm taking Alec to my place and that he'll be okay," Magnus instructed Simon. Simon nodded but turned to Magnus looking puzzled. This annoyed Magnus greatly. "I don't have Catherine's number," he said. Magnus rolled his eyes and snapped his fingers, making a paper appear in Simon's hand; and on the paper, scrawled neatly was Catarina's number. "Now you do," Magnus said, as he created a Portal to his loft. "And it's Catarina, not Catherine," he added as he stepped through the Portal, half carrying, half dragging Alec with him.

Once in the loft, Magnus struggled, determined to save his magic, and finally laid Alec down of his couch. He knelt beside Alec and searched Alec's clothes for a stele. Even if Magnus couldn't bare runes, he could give them to Shadowhunters and he's seen an iratze being applied plenty of times. After fumbling, Magnus found Alec's stele in his jacket's pocket and with a deep breath he lifted Alec's t-shirt and traced an iratze on the Shadowhunter's stomach. Alec made a soft murmuring sound but that was it. After giving Alec a few more iratzes, Magnus peeled off Alec's t-shirt completely and whispered a simple spell to heal Alec's cut. A much more needy spell will need to be performed to get rid of the pain and to soothe Alec, though.

Clary held her phone tightly in case Simon called. She hadn't been a massive fan of Alec, but now she knew that he was only being a jerk because he was scared of his emotions and since Magnus, he has been a lot better. She didn't think she could take it if anything happened to him. And just as more depressing thoughts came to her head her phone buzzed. She picked up immediately and Simon said, "Hey, Clary. Tell everyone Alec's okay and he's with Magnus. Magnus' friend is taking care of the werewolf situation." Clary let out a big breath of relief.               "Where are you going, Simon?" Clary asked. "I'll find somewhere, don't worry, just be happy Alec's okay."

Alec was not okay. Magnus had drained most of his energy in keeping Alec asleep and soothing the pain but now Alec needed to wake up because he had caught a fever. He was hot, not just good-looking hot but his-temperature-is-too-high hot. With a sigh, Magnus kissed Alec's forehead and took one of the Shadowhunter's hand in his. "Hey, gorgeous," Magnus whispered, pushing back Alec's hair, twirling a few strands. Alec mumbled incoherently but didn't do much else. "Alexander, can you wake up for me, honey?" Magnus asked even though he was ninety-nine percent sure that Alec couldn't hear him. But apparently he could. "Magnus, is that you?" Alec inquired very softly. "Yeah, it's me, can you open your eyes for me?" Magnus asked again, still stroking Alec's hair back. "I'm so sorry," Alec said, completely ignoring Magnus' question. But at least he was awake, Magnus thought. He only needed Alec to be conscious to try and lower his temperature.

Alec's head was throbbing very painfully and all he could think about was how much he had hurt Magnus. "I'm so sorry, Magnus," he said again, but there was no reply. Of course. Magnus was  only healing Alec because Jace and Izzy probably offered him a fortune. How foolish of Alec to think that Magnus would forgive him just like that. It was stupid. And then Magnus' gentle fingers were on Alec's temple and he winced. This headache was terrible. There was no other sound for a while and Alec did not have the energy to open his eyes, but he presumed that Magnus had left him.

Alec felt a surge of happiness when he realised that Magnus had not left him. Instead, Magnus was sliding his hand along Alec's hair. Alec had a desperate urge to see Magnus' face, so protesting through his body's screams of agony, Alec opened his eyes.

Magnus was kneeling by Alec and he had his head resting on the sofa and his hand was absent-mindedly drawing patterns on the back of Alec's palm. Maybe Magnus would stay with him. "Magnus?" Alec said. The warlock immediately lifted his head of the sofa and put a hand to Alec's cheek, rubbing his thumb along Alec's jawline. Subconsciously, Alec leaned into the touch.

"How are you, beautiful?" Magnus asked but Alec was incapable of saying anything more that 'I'm sorry'. After apologising, Alec waited for Magnus' response. But rather that saying anything, Magnus slapped Alec's cheek. It wasn't painful but Alec could tell it wasn't an act of affection either. "Next time you apologise, I will slap you harder, I promise," Magnus said, eyes shining. "I-er- what do you want me to say?" Alec asked, astounded. "How about you answer my questions: how are you?" Magnus inquired again. Alec thought for a minute. He didn't feel as bad as he did after waking up, but he wasn't doing great either. "I'm okay," Alec finally said. "Does any part of you hurt, Alexander?" Alec thought about lying and saying 'no'. But he decided to say the truth. Magnus was studying him seriously and Alec was pretty sure if he lied, Magnus will definitely hit him harder.

Magnus was looking at Alec intently. The Shadowhunter had winced when Magnus had touched hi temples, so he was fairly certain that Alec had a headache. He could just find out using magic, but he needed to know if Alec trusted him enough to be honest. "My head hurts," Alec admitted. "I can fix that," Magnus offered and put two fingers to Alec's temple, heard Alec whimper and let lose some magic. After a minute he let go. "Better?" Magnus asked. Alec nodded. "Jace told me about your father, I'm sorry," Magnus confessed. Alec gaped at him before saying, "It's okay, don't worry." Magnus then looked into Alec's blue eyes and found unshed tears. When the time came, Alec would tell him; he was sure. But right now, Magnus was going to let Alec rest, he needed that.

Magnus was getting up from his position on the floor but before he could do go far, Alec grabbed Magnus' wrist. Magnus turned around, his cat eyes boring into Alec's. Before he could help it, Alec asked, "How much do you want?" Magnus looked confused. "How much what do I want?" Magnus responded. "How much payment do you want for healing me?" Alec asked again. At that Magnus looked shocked, hurt, confused and angry. Alec was worried. "Alexander Gideon Lightwood!" Magnus screeched, walking back to the sofa and towering over Alec. "I did not heal you for money, I healed you because I care about you, and from what Jace told me, you care about me too, so why don't you just admit it and then we can cuddle and watch a movie?" Magnus half screamed, half asked.

Alec was surprised at Magnus' reaction. He had never seen the warlock so angry. It was probably the worst thing to say at that moment but Alec said: "You want to cuddle and watch movies with me?" At that Magnus let out a groan. "Alexander, why don't you get that I care about you?" Magnus asked softly. Alec, unable to say anything, shrugged. After a minute of silence, Magnus sat back down beside the sofa on which Alec was lying on and took Alec's hand in his. "So erm," Alec mumbled awkwardly, "Will you be my boyfriend then?" At that Magnus smiled as bright as the sun. "Yes, Alexander, I'd love to be your boyfriend," Magnus replied and kissed Alec's cheek. He then lifted Alec's feet off the sofa, sat down and place Alec's feet on his lap. "How does cuddling and watching a movie sound, Alexander," Magnus asked. Alec smiled softly and replied: "Sound great."

A/N So what do you guys think about the ending? Okay? And thank you for all the views. I'm always grateful for comments and votes as well.
