Epilogue

Sari had a blindfold around her eyes at naglalakad siya ngayon habang inaalalayan ni Yego. Kakababa lamang niya sa sasakyan.

"Don't peek," he excitedly said habang papalapit sila sa sorpresa nito.

"I'm not! I'm just so excited!" she exclaimed. "Siguraduhin mong matutuwa ako ha!"

"Oh, you will jump with joy when you see this, wife!" At tumigil ito sa paglalakad. "This is a good spot. Now, I'll remove the blindfold slowly, okay?"

Tumango-tango siya, still seeing nothing. She felt him untangling her blindfold and slowly, she saw light streaming in. She squinted and slowly opened her eyes.

"Surprise!" he said.

In front of her was her dream house. It was standing ever so proudly. A mixture of nature and comfort and modernity all rolled into one. The windows were huge giving enough light and brightness inside.

"Welcome home, babe," Yego whispered to her ears.

Naiiyak siya sa tuwa. Seeing her dream house in the flesh feels so surreal. It glowed with warmth and it was a hundred times better than what she imagined it to be.

"I'm speechless... It's just so..." She couldn't find the right words to describe it. Beautiful is an understatement.

"Well, the architect was amazing so... Did you like it?"

"I love it! Thank you! I love you!" At niyakap niya ng mahigpit si Yego. They were at the small gate entrance at hinila niya ang binata papasok sa bahay. There were stone stairs papataas before they reach the main door. Sprawling gardens were all around. And a pool was located on the right side of the garden front.

Binuksan ni Saritha ang double doors and saw a fully-furnished grand entrance. There was a grand sala to her right with ceilings that were so high she felt the enormity of the space. The windows were as high and as huge making the place look like a part of nature.

A grand and modern staircase was located to her left. And she counted three floors in total. The walls were white and cozy, complementing the brightness of the place.

"It's so beautiful!" she said, mesmerized. Live plants were also inside the house in every corner bringing life to everything they touch.

"So, is that a yes?"

"A yes to what?" she asked, still looking around her.

"To live with me again. After the wedding, I mean," pag-aalok nito. He looked like a shy little puppy with what he was asking.

Her heart warmed with joy seeing her husband like this, vulnerable and in love with her. She couldn't fathom how she has lived for so long without him. She is crazy. "Of course... Yes, I would love to live with you." She approached to give him a kiss. "And love you forever."

"Me, too, babe. Me too..." And they kissed again inside their house that they will eventually call their home. This will be the walls witnessing their love for the years to come. "You want to see the bedroom?" he naughtily asked and winked at her.

"Oh, I would love to!" And laughters filled the house as they climbed up the stairs.
