Sarah's POV
I can't believe that Tammy had the guts to bully my friend. This is what I did to her:
"Tammy! What did you do to Max?" I yelled as I approached her.
"I didn't do anything. Max got so scared that she got too weak to stand."
"That's a lie. Max is a strong girl. She wouldn't just drop to the ground. What did you do?"
"I hit her one time. She fell down and never stood back up." That set me off. I smacked her and she fell down.
"How do you like it? You hurt my friend. Now I'm hurting you." With every word I landed a punch.
"Sarah, stop. I didn't hurt Max that much," she cried, tears streaming down her cheeks.
"This is for everything that you did to people in elementary school, everything that you made me do. I never wanted to do those things. I just did it because I had no other choice. I would have been beaten up on if I didn't beat up on who you wanted me to beat up on." My punches slowed as I panted from exhaustion. They eventually stopped. I couldn't believe that I did that.
Her nose was dripping with blood, her cheeks covered in bruises and stained with tears. I had caused her pain willingly. I hadn't done that before. I just stared at her. She continued to cry. I had never seen her so weak, but she had brought it upon herself. Her actions toward others caused this. I was still guilty, though.
"Sarah, what did you do?" I looked behind me to see Mrs. Jeremy standing there.
"I-I'm sorry. I just got so mad because she hurt Max that I beat her up. I know that it was wrong, but she tortured almost everyone in elementary school. She forced me to torture them. I couldn't let her get away with it." Tears started to stream down my face.
"That was like six years ago. Wait, you used to be a bully?" I nodded.
"It wasn't by choice though. It was either bully others by her instructions or get the bulk of the bullying. None of her friends left her. We were all scared that she would hurt us twice as much as she hurt others. Nobody talked to us. Not even Diana. She refused to talk to me, even at home. It was bad." I got off of Tammy and stood up.
"Sarah, come here." She opened her arms. I ran into her arms and cried into her chest.
"I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."
"Sh, it's okay. You should have taken care of her mermaid style, though."
I looked up at her. "Wh-what?"
She smiled at me. "Yeah, mermaid style is the best way to handle it. Nobody knows that you caused it, but the person gets what they deserve."
"Want to do it together?" I smirked and she smirked back.
"Of course." We pulled apart and looked for water. I noticed that Tammy was standing up now. I spotted a water bottle in Tammy's hand. I pointed it out to Mrs. Jeremy. She nodded and made it explode in Tammy's face.
"Ugh, what just happened?" I turned the water to jelly. "What is this goop?" I held in a laugh. We watched as Tammy's friends helped pull the jelly off of her face and out of her hair. "My hair is ruined!" She stomped off toward the bathroom.
I went to the other bathroom and cleaned off my face. I was not going to go back to my friends with a tear stained face. I splashed water on my face before realizing that it was a bad idea. "Smart move." I ran into a stall and fell face first onto the ground.
I sat there until my tail faded back into skin and legs. I walked out and back to my friends.
