I automatically hit his chest repeatedly. My eyes became blurry because of the tears wanting to come out. I was really scared and nervous!

"Damn you! Where on earth have you been?!"

And all he could do is chuckle, not minding me hitting him. When my arms felt sore for punching him too much, I stopped. I calmed myself up. What's important is that, he's here. He did not left. And with a black flag on his hand! I divert my attention in those.

"Where...." I trailed of as I look at the black flag on his hand. He offered it to me so I held it.

"Doon," sabi niya at tumingala. Sinundan ko ng tingin ang mga mata niya. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko kasabay ang pag-awang ng mga labi.

"Up there? How did you even climb up.... That tree was tall, Caius! Paano kung nahulog ka?" Natataranta kong sabi dahil tinuro niya iyong matayog na puno.

Narinig ko ang pagtawa niya. "But I didn't, did I?" He even raise a brow at me! The gut of this guy!

"You're not hurt in any part of your body, right?" Nag-aalala kong sabi. He nodded continuously. I felt relieved.

"Tell me, are a monkey or something? How can you climb such tall trees, really?" I asked, amazed.

He only chuckled. "I definitely not. It just happen that I know how to climb trees."

Kaysa ipagpilitan na unggoy siya ay nagpatuloy na lang kami sa paglalakad. I cannot believe we already have a black flag!

"Cai, how did you saw this when it was tied up there?"

He shrugged. "Habang kausap mo si Nesi, may nakita akong ibon kaya sinundan ko hanggang sa lumipad doon sa sanga ng puno. Doon ko nakita 'yang flag."

"Oh, what a nice bird," I laughed. Natawa rin siya doon sa sinabi ko.

"Yeah, nice bird." Natatawa siyang tumango-tango. "Let's go that way," he said later on so we did.

I folded the map and put it in my backpack. Inilabas ko iyong dalawang bote ng tubig at iniabot kay Caius ang isa.

"Thanks," sabi niya atsaka uminom. Uminom din ako.

"Sandwich?" I offered.

"Later," he smiled. Tumango ako at isa lang ang inilabas at kinain iyon habang naglalakad kami. It's been like twenty minutes since this game started and now I feel like it has been forever! Caius lead our way while me, I was busy wondering around with my tuna sandwich. Kumagat ulit ako sa sandwich ko nang mahagip ng tingin ko iyong halamang may sumisilip na kulay asul.

Lumapit ako doon at hinila ang kulay asul na bagay na sumisilip. Nanlaki ang mga mata ko nang mapagtantong watawat iyon! Blue, meaning five points, right?!

"Cai! Check this out!" I called. Wala pang limang segundo ay nasa harap ko na ulit siya. Mangha siyang tumingin sa hawak kong asul na flag saka inilipat ang tingin saakin. I smiled proudly at him.

"Wow. Where did you get it?" Sabi niya ng may ngiti sa mga labi.

"On the bush!" Tinuro ko iyon kaya sumunod ang tingin niya rito.

"I see," he nodded. "Good job," then he ruffled my hair.

"Tara na, hanap na ulit tayo! Let's win this game, 'kay?" Masaya kong sabi. Para akong nabuhayan ng loob dahil sa isang watawat na iyon. Tumaas ang kilay ni Cai at bakas ang ngisi sa labi niya.

"Okay," he agreed then grabbed my wrist and started to walk. I did nothing but tail him from behind, eyes focused on his hand on my wrist. His hand was soft. It's also warm just like what I feel everytime he hugs me. He and his warm heart.
