"Kamusta?" Bungad nila Kesha. Nandito kaming tatlo ngayon sa canteen kumakain ng lunch.

"Ayos naman. Kayo?"

"We're fine naman. Tell us what happened in Davao." Lexie said.

"Well... I met my biological father and he's really cool, warm and very welcoming. Ate Blythe and Blake are very comforting and I also had the chance to meet my cousins. They were... awesome. Like awesomely fun." I told them with a smile on my face.

Their both faces softened.

"And... actually, I'm planning to... change my surname." I added.

Their jaw dropped as they looked at me, completely shocked.

"W-What?" Lexie stuttered.

Kesha drank her water and then she cleared her throat before talking. "Did they asked you to?"

I immediately shook my head. "Hindi. Desisyon ko 'to mismo."

"Alam ba nila Tito Albert?" Si Lexie na bakas ang pag-aalala sa boses.

Dahan-dahan akong umiling. "I... I'm waiting for the right moment and also... I wanna ask Ate Krizha for help regarding this."

Ate Krizha is Kesha's older sister. She's a lawyer so I think she could help me.

"I'll talk to her about this, okay?" Kesha hugged me sideways and rested her head on my shoulder. "Whatever your plan is, we'll support you as long as it's reasonable and will do good to you, okay?"

Lexie went on our back and hugged us from there. "Life's being so hard to you and I admire you for being so strong enough to face all of those challenges."

"Thanks, guys." I pat their head both. "By the way, guys, uhm... how's he?" Humiwalay sila sa yakap at tumingin pareho saakin. "What?"

"You mean, Caius, your ex?" Lexie emphasized.

"Seriously?" I glared at her.

Kesha's laughter roared. "Epic talaga bibig mo, 'no?" Sabi nito kay Lexie.

"What's wrong with what I said ba? It's true naman!" Ngumuso ito na parang bata.

"Okay, so back to the topic, iyong ex mo-- este si Caius..." Pang-aasar ni Kesha.

"Ha-ha." Sarkastiko akong tumawa. "Funny."

"Sige seryoso na," pinigilan nito ang ngisi niya. "Si Cai... ayon, may girlfriend na siya. Maganda, Jei, promise!" Tinaas pa nito ang kamay niya na parang nanunumpa talaga.

"Huh?" Kunot-noong usal ni Lexie. "He has?"

"Ay, hindi mo din alam?" Napaawang ang labi nito. "Ano ba 'yan, bakit hindi kayo updated?!"

I smiled bitterly. "Good for him." I said even if I'm close to crying.

"Hey," Lexie called. "Don't smile like that!"

"What? Why?"

"You're faking it! You looked like a baby who's about to cry but still trying to act tough." She even tried to depict my smile.

"Ano?" Natatawang sabi ni Kesha. "Bakit naman iiyak si Jei, e, naka-move on na 'yan?"

Move on? Naka-move on nga ba talaga ako? Ni hindi ko pa rin nga matanggap ng buo na nakipaghiwalay ako sakanya!

"Move on? Si Jei? I don't think so." Lexie asserted.

"Well... kung hindi pa siya naka-move on, si Caius naka-move on na. So, all she can do is to move forward and continue living life."
