"Hoy Lexie, pasalubong ko, ha! 'Wag ka nang umuwi kapag wala kang i-uuwing pasalubong!" Maingay at parang naghahanap ng away na sabi ni Kesha. It was 10 in the morning when Kesha called. It was a group video call.

"Merry Christmas din, Kesha," Umirap si Lexie.

"Ingay niyo," reklamo ko. "Kamusta naman ba?"

"Ayos lang. Dami kong nakain kagabi! Naku," nag-aalalang sabi ni Kesha.

Tumawa ako. "Ako din!"

"Sana all," Lexie pouted.

"Paris pa more!" Pang-aasar ni Kesha.

"How's Paris, Lex?" I asked.

"It's fine, why?"

"Just asking," I shrugged. "When are you coming home?"

"'Wag ka na umuwi!" Humalakhak si Kesha.

"Wow, ha, Kendra Sharlene! Sayo ba ang Pilipinas?!"

I laughed at them.

"January 2 pa yata. I don't know. Baka absent na rin ako sa first day," Lexie answered.

"Kesh, nasa Majesty ka ba bukas?"

"Oo, bakit?"

"Punta ako, ah?"

"Luh, all of a sudden?"

"Bakit? Bawal? Wala akong gagawin bukas kaya..."

"Ngi,"

"Please?"

"Wait up, kuha lang ako ice cream!" Paalam ni Lexie na nakikinig lang sa usapan.

"No one's asking!" Sigaw ni Kesha sakanya pabalik.

"Hmp. Epal!"

"Hoy, Icah, sure ka ba bukas? Ano namang gagawin mo dun?"

"Wala, nood lang. Bakit ba ayaw mo?"

"Nagsabing ayaw ko?! Ang akin lang, baka ma-bore ka!"

"I won't, okay?"

"Ge, bahala ka."

We talked for a few more hours. Until we run out of topic and we just decided to end the call.

I decided to open the gifts I received last night. Inuna ko iyong kay Jian. It's a new set of acrylic paints with different types of brushes! Ang kay Kuya naman ay isang sketch pad at iba't ibang uri ng pangkulay. Wow, they really know what I like, huh?

Next was Dad's. It's an elegant nude stilettos. I think I saw this somewhere in mall. Noong date yata namin ni Cai. But... this is so expensive! And if I am not mistaken, it's a limited edition! I tried it on and it suits me!

Lastly, my Mom's present. I was excited and nervous at the same time while unwrapping it. Sobrang ingat ko pa habang binubuksan iyon at ayaw kong sirain ang gift wrapper. My eyes widened when I saw a watch. This is the watch that I wanted! How did she know? Or does she? Ah, basta I love it!

Kinabukasan ay pumunta ako sa Majesty. Nag-text ako kay Kesha na nasa lobby na ako at isang minuto lang ang lumipas nakita ko na siya. Nakasuot ito ng black bodysuit at satin skirt. Paired with her white stockings and her ballet shoes. Her hair is in a bun, too.
