"Ready?" Jian asked me. He offered a hand which I gladly accept. I nodded.

"Yep."

"Let's go, gorgeous," said Kuya.

"Kay gandang bata! Dalaga ka na talaga, anak!" Halos maiyak na si Nay Selya habang pinagmamasdan ako. Nakasuot lang ako ng kulay kremang may deep v neckline, revealing my cleavage a little. May ribbon detail ito sa bandang bewang at may beads din. The dress is backless too and ending an inch below my knees. I let my hair down and put a light makeup.

"Salamat, Nay," ngiti ko.

Ang alam ko ay si Kuya ang pumili ng restaurant na kakainan namin kaya habang nasa sasakyan niya kami ay tahimik lang kaming apat.

"Sila Kesha?" Tanong ni Kuya kaya nilingon ko siya.

I smiled a bit. "I don't think they can come."

"Oh." That's what he only said, obviously, understand how much I wanted to get rid of the topic.

After I don't how long already, wala pa rin kami sa restaurant na sinasabi ni Kuya. Medyo naiinip na nga ako samantalang si Jian sa likod na usually madaling ma-bore ay prente lang na nakasandal at nakapikit ang mga mata. Ako lang ba ang naiinip?

"Kuya, are we almost there?"

"Yeah, in fact, we are right here." He said as the car stopped.

"Finally!" Jian, who just look like a zombie woke up from his grave, said. I laughed at him. I thought I'm the only one bored but I guess our feeling is mutual. This kid, really.

We got out from the car and I literally froze. Confused, I looked at Kuya Adam.

"Why are we here?"

This is the garden owns by Cai's family. What are we doing here? Why are we even here?

"You'll find out," he only said and everything turned black.

"Hey, what's this? Guys? Nay Selya?" I said, panicking. They put a blindfold on me! "Is this some kind of surprise? Seriously, guys?!"

"Ate, you're too loud," I heard Jian whispered. He's the one beside me, guiding my way.

"What the hell is happening, Ji?" I whispered back.

"It wouldn't be a surprise if I tell you," I can seriously tell that he is pouting right now. Hindi na lang ako umimik at hinayaan ang sarili kong maglakad sa kung saan man ako dadalhin ni Jian.

"Ready?" I heard Kuya said. I nodded continuously. I am excited and nervous at the same time. I told them I just want a simple dinner but what is this? Ramdam ko ang pagtanggal niya sa blindfold ko pero hindi ko muna iminulat ang mga mata ko.

"Open your eyes, lil sis," he chuckled. I obliged and slowly opened my eyes.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" They all said in unison. I held my chest when a confetti suddenly blows up. Halos maiyak ako sa tuwa habang pinagmamasdan ang mga nasa harap ko.  My blockmates are here! I saw Dale standing beside Lexie and then Kesha and Red and it's him. Caius holding a cake with lit up candles, smiling sweetly at me.

"H-Hey... what is this..." Naiiyak na sabi ko kay Jian.

"Surprise?" Sabi naman niya at natawa. He hugged me side ways and since he is inch taller than me now, I felt him planted a kiss on the top of my head. Kuya Adam joined us, too and also did the same.

"Happy birthday, Ate," he greeted.

"Thank you, baby,"

"Hey, why are you crying?" Sabi naman ni Kuya. Lumapit na rin saamin ang mga kaibigan ko.
