"Hey, calm down," Caius whispered when he notice how nervous I was. The show is about to start in just a minute and I am thinking of backing out!

"Baka mahimatay ako sa stage!" Sabi ko na mas lalo lang nakapagpakaba sa sarili. Stupid, why am I scaring myself?!

He chuckled. "I'll catch you, don't worry," he joked.

"Seryoso kasi!" Hinampas ko ang braso niya.

"Seryoso nga!"

Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin at uminom na lang ng tubig. Wala na sila Jared, Dale, Kesha at Lexie dito sa backstage dahil nasa labas na sila at naghanap na ng mauupuan. Naiwan kaming dalawa ni Caius dito kasama ang mga ibang kandidata. We're going to do a catwalk with our casual wear plus the introduction.

Nang nagsimula nang magsalita ang host ng event ay mas lalo lang akong nataranta. Hindi ako mapakali at kinakalikot na lang ang kamay kong nanginginig.

"Hey..." he called so I looked at him. "I'm here. I'm with you, okay? You'll never walk alone," then he intertwined his with mine.

That made me feel a lot better.

When the emcee called for the candidates, it means the program started. We lined up and then they're calling us one by one. I mean, pair by pair. When we heard that candidate number seven was being called, we both went out and the audience roared.

"Go, love!!" Rinig na rinig ko ang sigaw ni Kesha at Lexie. Sinubukan kong hanapin sila at nasa bandang gilid silang apat sa may hindi kalayuan sa stage.

"Wooo! That's it, gorgeous!" Sigaw ni Lexie.

My smile grew wider because of my supportive best friends. Just like what we do on the rehearsals, I went at the right side first and then pose while Caius will go on the left and then we'll exchange and at last, we'll meet in the center then create some pose then exit. And when everyone is done, we will all go out for the last walk.

I let out a one heavy sigh when I finally survived the first part. Next thing will be sports wear. I quickly change in my outfit and then here we go again. Hindi na yata nawala ang kaba ko the whole time. Si Caius naman ay parang wala lang at akala mo sanay na sanay na siya at hindi man lang kinakabahan! So unfair!

At the Q&A part, there's only two question. One for the girls and one for the boys. So it means, both pair should do good because if not it may affect their score kasi mga diba, as one ang judging. The question is all about health, like how important our health is. I gave them a nice and contended answer. My answer satisfy me so I think I did well. I didn't know how Caius end up with an answer because I am wearing a damn headphone and the music is too loud that I thought it damaged my eardrums!

And the final moment has come! Finally, matatapos na rin! Yari saakin lahat ng kaklase kong ninominate at binoto ako. Lagot talaga sila saakin.

"The second runner up is....." the emcee took a glance at the small envelope. "Candidate number..... three! Jarnesia Academy!" He announced. Nag-ingay naman ang mga taga Jarnesia Academy. Pumalakpak na rin ako habang pinapanood na suotan ng sash at crown iyong dalawa sa harap. The girl is really pretty, though.

"First runner up goes to....." pangbibitin ulit niya. "Candidate number nine! Eastern High University!"

"Wooooo! Ayos, pre! Hahahaha!" Rinig na rinig ko ang tawa at malakas na boses ni Red. Agad namang siyang binatukan ni Lexie at Kesha.

"Traydor," ngumuso ako.

"That guy." Turo ni Caius sa lalaking nilalagyan ng sash ngayon. "We're friends with him."
