I stabbed Kelli once again, letting her fall to the ground. I placed the golden handcuffs in her, setting her up on a pole.
I turned around when I heard someone land on the ground. Most of the time, I was faced with the only person who knew I existed, but instead of the blond I got the rookie.
The sea green eyed boy stared at me, eyes wide and mouth ajar. I glared at him, "where is rewind?"
"Uh, I'm in his place," The boy said.
"Ugh, why didn't luke call? And who the hell are you?"
"I'm perc...I'm personally-uh. There's no saving that. Superhero name is riptide, but my real name is-"
"Perseus," I interrupted. "Favorite color blue, orphan at half blood orphanage, favorite teacher is Mr Chiron Bruner,"
                              "How do you-"
"Know all that? My mom works at O.L.Y.M.P.U.S. You learn a few things when your always there. No one sees me there, so I know things,"
"Why didn't they tell me someone else was coming? I thought there only needed to be one superhero,"
"I'm not a superhero," I stated before he counts he his ramble, which I knew he did a lot.
                              "What do you mean?"
"Not everyone can be a superhero. Not everyone can just wear a costume and save the city. Not everyone can just change time or control water at their will, Perseus,"
                              "It's Percy,"
"Yeah, whatever. Tonight's the last day your gonna see me anyway,"
                              "Why?"
                              "Curiosity killed the cat,"
"You really like being mysterious, don't you?"
I aimed my grappling hook towards the roof of the building closest, "see you around, seaweed brain,"
I saw him way sooner than I wanted too.
My name was on the board to be in a group with him, partners with him. This was not gonna be good.
Percy made his way over to our assigned table for this project, smirking as he realized who I was.
"So, your the superhero that helped me last night,"
                              "I told you I'm not a hero,"
"Yeah, but I don't think your really cutting yourself any credit," he glanced at the screen with my name, "Annabeth chase,"
                              "Perseus jackson,"
                              "I told you it's Percy,"
"And I told you I'm no hero,"
                              "I think Luke would disagree,"
"What does this have to do with him? We aren't talking about your crush,"
That made his cheeks flush, "m-my what?"
"You do realize I watched you ramble on and on about him, and how you acted. Yeah, you have an obvious crush,"
                              "And who did you like?"
"You can't like anyone when you have no friends,"
                              "You have me,"
"Oh I do? We'll see how long you stick around, seaweed brain,"
