I didn't really know what had just happened. I was supposed to just be normal, a super but not a hero.
Turns out, fate has different plans.
Well, not date really. Just the author, but apparently your not supposed to break the fourth wall. I heard Leo's tired of fixing it.
Back to the regularly scheduled fanfic.
The masked and younger hero riptide fell from the sky and landed inches apart from me.
I hated being a good person, because I always had to help. And because of that, I dragged the unconscious superhero back to my art studio and tried to fix him up.
After I felt like he was good enough, I laid him on a few pillows arranges into a bed. I painted him as a superhero, water surrounding him because I had to wait.
Finally, the hero woke up. He glanced around before spotting me, "hazel?"
                              "Yes? Who are you?"
He immediately took off his mask, revealing one of my oldest ex friends. I loved him and everything, but after frank died because he wanted an adventure, we had a falling out.
                              "P-percy. You-your a hero,"
"Yeah. I um- I should go,"
"No!" I said a bit too quickly, before regaining my dignity, "you can stay. It would be good to catch up and you need rest,"
He looked hesitant, "okay. Um, have you used your powers much?"
I shook my head. Only Percy, Frank, and Leo knew about my powers. Leo being the latest person to know.
Percy gave a shrug, "you should use them. I know your a good person, and O.L.Y.M.P.U.S. could use someone like you,"
"They don't need me, they need you,"
"Well whag would you say if I needed you?"
                              "But-you have...Grover, and, uh, Grover?"
"The only other friend I've ever had is you. And now some vigilante who doesn't want her name known. Please haze,"
"Fine. But your making me a suit,"
"Sure thing," Percy flashes his famous lopsided grin, "anyone else know?"
I gave a small nod, "one person. He's the only person I'm friends with since, well, you know.."
Percy tried not to let franks mention phase him, though I could tell it still hurt. He finally spoke after a small moment, "could I meet him?"
                              "Who?"
"Your new best friend. Maybe we could like join friendships. It would help keep away the lonley,"
"I would like that. I never cared much for being lonley,"
"Yeah, it's like a dark lord that creeps up on you. And I've never been a fan of dark lords,"
I laughed as I remembered Percys distaste for Voldemort when he read Harry Potter. Can't lie, it felt good to be with him again.
