"So," Annabeth said, sitting down in the hero room with Percy and I. "I'm glad you both are here, I have this case I've been trying to crack for a while,"

"Whats the case?" Percy asked.

"A murder one, it's said to be a kid, and the only leads I can find are Atermes, someone named Nico Di Angelo, and you too,"

That confuses me, the only two people that everyone on the list knew were—oh no, "who's the case?"

"Bianca di Angelo,"

I inhaled deeply and felt my eyes grow wide. It had been years since I've heard that name, and I could tell percy was thinking the same thing.

Annabeth seemed to realize we knew something about the case, "guys?"

Percy continued to breathe harshly, and I placed a hand on his arm and rubbed small circles soothingly.

"Percy and I didn't meet each other through OLYMPUS. We knew each other, and we knew a few others,"

Before I could continue, Percy spoke, "Zoe's adoptive mother—atermes—went missing a few days before the adventure. So we went to find her,"

"Zoe does fighting her real father, and Percy had promised Nico he would protect his older sister, Bianca," I continued.

"But I failed," percys voice broke, "and Nico turned into a villian. Ghost. We covered it up, but now you know,"

"So that's the reason we're fighting ghost?"

"Nico still has some good in him. He'll come around,"

"How do you know that?" Both Annabeth and I asked.

"He knew I wasn't charmed, yet he didn't tell them. That means he's good. And I'm gonna make sure he realizes it,"
