"Doc, is it still normal? Wala ni isang gamot ang tinatanggap ng katawan niya."

"It's normal Mr. Samonte. It takes a lot of time to respond sa medication na na-apply sa pasyente. Dahil na rin sa dami ng operasyon na nagawa sa kanya ay malamang na mahirap maka-adapt ang katawan niya. Her body is responding slowly kaya gano'n na lamang ang epekto ng gamot sa kanya. She's still weak."

"Is there any progress naman po? Kahit konti lang?"

"As of now, based on Electroencephalogram (EEG) procedure done to her, the result is good. Ito ang procedure na napakalaki ng progress sa pasyente. We are still monitoring her in every three hours, so there's no need to worry Mr. Samonte, excuse me."

"It's been two months, Sweetie," I heard a whisper from a man.

An old man.

"I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry if I failed you." And felt the warm touch of a hand in my head.

"You promised to stay, please stay. Your mom misses you so much," And heard him sob while holding my hand this time.

Why am I hearing those words coming from him?

"Alder misses you too,"

Alder!

I tried to open my eyes but it's too heavy to move.

"Everyone misses you, my daughter."
My heart twisted in pain and happiness when I figured out who's behind the voice.

He's my dad.

"Come back to us." He whispered and I felt him leave the room.

Hindi naman ako nawala. Hindi naman ako umalis. Babalik at babalik naman ako kahit 'di nila sabihin.

I tried to move my fingers but I can't move.
Am I being paralyzed?

I tried so hard to move every single muscle I have but I just failed.

Gising ang diwa ko ngunit bakit hindi ko maigalaw ang katawan ko. Am I losing my own control?

For the last time, I tried again but I just failed.

"Oh my God! Yrra, o my!" And heard a machine noise near me.

"What is happening?"

"Call the doctor Lyra!" And heard the rush open of the door and the noise of people nearing me.

What is really happening?

I wanted to wake up but I can't seem to open my eyes and control my brain to do so.

"Hand me the syringe," said the unfamiliar voice coming from a man.

My system went black when I felt the liquid rush into my veins.

Seizure!

YRRA'S MOM POV (Euzil)

"WHAT IS HAPPENING to my baby, Doc?" tanong ko kay Doc.

"Mrs. Samonte, the patient is trying to control her system. She wanted to wake up but her system won't let her. She's still weak to wake up early. The medication is responding slowly kaya ganun ang epekto nito sa kanyang katawan. Don't worry so much Mrs. Samonte, babawasan na rin namin ang mga gamot na ituturok sa kanya." I heave a sigh when I heard the reason behind the seizure of my daughter.

It means my baby is trying to wake up. She's still fighting. Napaiyak naman ako ng bahagya.

"Is it possible that she'll wake up soon?" I asked still hoping.

"Yes. We can force her to wake up. But I'm sure she'll wake up on her own, she's been trying, excuse me."

My baby is trying to wake up. We still have time to make it up to her.
