"LOOK, I'm so sorry! I-I-I didn't mean to, um, scooped through! I promise." Rambled the pretty red-head. "I just, these artwork are amazing and beautiful."
Toni didn't say anything, she just stared at her. Whoever she was, the red-headed was something else. Something magical. Like a delicate flower that may be too fragile for a harsh blow. The way she wore her hair with a white satin hair bow barrette and her hands holding the Lady Dior gently- She looked like an angel. From her pink skirt matched with thigh-high knee socks to her innocent-looking eyes, her soft voice, and her aura that Toni wants to spend the rest of days on the beach, looking at to the sea. And not like the usual 'please, punch me in the face' aura like her classmates give off.
Then Toni realized she hadn't said anything. She blinked a couple of times and coughed. "It's fine, and uh, thank you."
"I'm sorry if it's sound stupid but, for what?" Asked the girl with a curious gaze.
"Oh, uh, um, for saying my artwork looks nice." Mumbled Toni, though it seemed like the girl was able to hear it.
"Oh, that's nothing!" She replied, waving it off. " Besides, I bet you get a lot of compliments for your artworks."
A slightest of red crept on her cheek as she heard that. Toni opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out. Maybe, because she really hasn't shown her stuff to anyone and that one she showed is technically illegal and deemed 'bad.'
Toni straightened her back and cleared her throat, trying this time, not to mumble or anything. "Well, I haven't... really shown anyone my artwork... you're kinda like the only one who had seen it."
Her face faltered and Toni could have sworn she felt her heartache a bit by that movement.
"But, it's totally fine!" Added in, Toni, quickly. "It's just... I don't want to embarrass myself if people see it and hate it."
She sheepishly smiled. "Oh, alrighty-wait, I'm sorry that I didn't ask earlier but I didn't catch your name, what is it?"
"Antoinette Topaz, but my friends call me, uh, T-Toni." Stammered Toni before she realized what she said.
"Well, Toni Topaz, nice to meet you. I'm-" Said the girl, offering her hand to Toni but before, Toni could shake her hand. The girl's phone started dinged like crazy and she took her hand out of her bag to check. She sighed. "I'm so sorry, but I have to go before my friends think I'm missing and send out a search party."
Toni nodded but she felt disappointed. "Oh. Okay."
Toni watched as the lady walked over to the door and opened the door. Toni was kinda hoping to get to know the mysterious girl and learn her name, they somehow fall in love and they run away together to the city- okay, she is getting so far from herself, maybe just get to know her better... for now.
