THEY RODE UP TO THE THORNHILL GATE, and Toni had stopped at the closed gate and let Cheryl hopped off her motorcycle and walked over to the intercom. Toni watched as Cheryl muttered quietly to the intercom, and the gate opened. Cheryl walked back and hopped onto the motorcycle. The butterflies reappeared Toni's stomach when Cheryl's hands wrapped around her waist.

Toni had convinced Cheryl to ride her motorcycle instead of calling Cheryl's chauffeur because Cheryl was afraid of accidentally falling off the bike, so Toni let Cheryl tightened her arms around her to reassure her that she wouldn't fall off. That seemed to help Cheryl, and now here they were, arms wrapped around her waist.

"You secured?" Asked Toni, making sure that Cheryl was good.

"Yes." Breathed out, Cheryl.

Toni nodded and pressed her foot against the engine, restarting it. She rode in, and the gate closed behind them. Toni parked her motorcycle by the front door. Toni, clutching her backpack gently, hopped off, and helped Cheryl get off of the parked motorcycle.

Cheryl excitedly walked over to the door while Toni stood uncertain outside the door. Toni bit her lips. She didn't feel comfortable walking in Cheryl's super-duper expensive house in the outfit she was currently wearing.

She wore a battered jean that had paint stain all over them, a crop tee of her favorite band, and dirty boots. Toni never gave a shit about what people thought of her, yet she just wanted Mrs.Blossom and Mr.Blossom to like her. Ugh.

Toni took a step forward and froze in her spot. Cheryl shot her a concerned look and asked. "You okay, Toni?"

"It just..." Trailed off, Toni.

She didn't know how to explain it to someone who never experienced anything that she has been through. Toni knew how the North siders acted toward her kind, and the fact she was dark-skinned and low-income didn't help at all.

And Mrs.Blossom and Mr.Blossom reigned superiority over the rest of the town and have an inner circle consisting of the only people they are just like them, rich. Toni didn't want to judge Cheryl's parents at all, but she could already sense the fake sweetness and smile and stuck up noses.

Cheryl can see what she was thinking as she gently said, "My parents are home, it's just the maids and butlers. Don't worry."

Toni blushed and nodded. She started walking, and when she reached the door, Cheryl opened the door to reveal an elegant redwood room. Toni stepped in, and a creepy vibe settled over her.

The Blossom's estate-Thornhill looks like a house where all of Cheryl's dead relatives from the graveyard haunted- so a haunted house. And, yes, Toni saw a glimpse of the infamous Blossom graveyard that everyone was talking about.
