CHERYL has never felt so happy in her life. Her friends were slowly accepting Toni into their group even though they were changing Toni's appearance. Instead of her ripped jeans and cropped shirts-they were trying to replace it with schoolgirl skirts and collar shirts, which Cheryl thought was less hot on Toni. She preferred girls with ripped jeans and fishnets shirts-that was hot. What could she say?

Anyways, Daisy and Toni were talking like every minute of the day, and it was making Cheryl smile in relief. It was making her happy to know that her closest friends were getting along. It seemed they had bonded over something at Kathleen's annual sleepover-Cheryl wondered what they were bonding over.

A smile played on her face in the library when she was reading this cute novel that she had checked out. The main character, the nerdy girl, was getting asked out by the most popular boy in the school, and Cheryl was mentally screaming at it.

She didn't notice that someone had sat next to her empty chair at her table in the library till she heard a chuckle that made her look up from her book.

Cheryl's face instantly reddened when she saw the sheepish expression of Reggie Mantle. He ran a hand through his black hair and shot her a smile.

"I'm glad that I finally caught your attention," Reggie said. "I was afraid that you were never going to look up."

Cheryl blushed and shyly glanced away. "Sorry."

"It's no problem," Nodded Reggie. "Anyways, I have been to ask you about something."

"Oh? What is it?" Asked Cheryl. "Is everything alright?"

Reggie chuckled and nodded. "Everything is fine, Cheryl-don't worry."

"Oh, okay," Said Cheryl, then frowned. "Then what is it?"

"Um...I was thinking about how we've been hanging out lately and I was wondering if you would like to go on..." Said Reggie, already blushing. "Go out on a date with me?"

"Oh, um, er," Said Cheryl, closing her book and thinking about it. "I...sure!"

Reggie relaxed, and he sighed in relief. "Thank god, I was so scared that you were going to reject me."

"I would never," Smiled Cheryl. "When's it?"

"How about tomorrow?" Asked Reggie. "I can't do it today."

"Oh, no-it's fine," Said Cheryl, shaking her head. "Pop's?"

"Yep, I'll pick you up at Thornhill?" Asked Reggie. "Or...?"
