TONI HAD BEEN A BLUSHING MESS ever since she had asked out Daisy, who luckily accepted her date to Kathleen's party. They haven't told anyone of their friends, but they know that the girls were eventually going to find out sometime soon. And Toni thinks that Cheryl is on to her, but that isn't really her concern anymore...
She doesn't know. Ever since Toni had asked out Daisy to the party-she had been feeling much better about herself. Maybe it was the feeling of being loved or know that someone actually liked her? But she and Daisy were friends. Just friends. Nothing more or nothing less. Friends.
"Hey, do you want to go on a date?" Said Daisy, sitting next to her while scrolling down at her phone. "Hm?"
"Okay," Asked Toni, not registering what Daisy had asked her, then blinked. "Wait, what-what do you just ask me?"
"Toni," Laughed Daisy, looking up from her phone. 'I'm asking if you want to go on a date with me-it can be a friendly date too, if you want."
"Uh, sure," Agreed Toni, then smiled. "Yeah, that's nice."
Daisy looked around and said, "Do you want to go now?"
"To where, hm?" Asked Toni, looking around too. "What are we going to do?"
"Do what people on dates do, like uh, ehh, flirt?" Shrugged Daisy, then she winked at Toni. "Hey girl, you look pretty today-pretty ugly today. Just kidding."
"Wow, Daisy, you really know how to make a girl blush," Joked Toni, laughing. "Well, I love your sarcasm-it really makes me feel love."
Daisy blushed. She tucked the strand of her red hair behind her ear and looked away. Her fingers drummed along her leg, and her boots rocked on the pavement that they sat on.
"So, are we doing the date?" Asked Toni, looking over at Daisy. "Or...?"
"Of course," Smiled Daisy, getting up and offering her hand to Toni. "Unless, you're going to reject me."
"I'm not," Answered Toni, accepting Daisy's hand and getting up.
Daisy was holding her hand, and their eyes flickered to one another, quickly blushing. Toni frowned, seeing that Daisy hadn't dropped her hand. Instead, she just simply held and closed it.
Toni's brown eyes looked at Daisy, who softly smiled and led her down the steps to her car. She watched as Daisy's red hair swayed in the wind and, a smile formed on her face.
They got into her car, and Daisy turned on the car with her car keys. She took a sip of coffee from her cup and placed it down. Daisy looked crazy, and Toni laughed.
