CHERYL doesn't get boys at all, maybe it's because she's a girl and that closet boy to her, her brother, had died, but boys are just weird... Like they could be jerks, who messing around with your feelings, fuck boys who just want to check off your name on a list, leaving you to feel dumb and stupid.

And Cheryl had her fair share of boys who wanted to hitch up her schoolgirl skirt or wanted to take her virginity for the games. She had seen her friends get played, cheated, or even damaged by boys yet, they always lingered for more when they could do so much better.

Maybe it's because Cheryl goes to school with rich ignorant boys or boys are just horrible in general? And that maybe somewhere along in the future-Cheryl will meet a nice boy for her, but in the meantime, boys are not worthy of her.

"So, what book are you currently reading?" Asked Daisy, gazing over bookshelves in her room. "Harry Potter? Percy Jackson?"

Cheryl laughed and shook her head softly. "No, I feel like I outdated those books-I'm currently reading Orpheus Girl."

Daisy pouted and flopped back onto her pink bed that Cheryl sat on. Cheryl giggled as she bounced up and down. Daisy then looked over to Cheryl and said. "You're never too old to read those books-there our childhood, we bonded over them."

"I don't know," She shrugged. "Kathleen always made fun of us for reading those books."

Daisy gasped dramatically. "Cheryl Blossom caring about what the devil says? What's happening to the world?"

Cheryl blushed and put her head down in shame. She and Daisy were having their sleepover at Daisy's house, Daisy had kept her promise, and it was just the two of them-no Kathleen, made Cheryl very happy. And they were currently talking about books while chilling in Daisy's bedroom, snacking on midnight snacks.

"I dunno, it seems like you're caring about what she says," Blurted out, Cheryl before widened. "Daisy-"

"Mon amour cheri!" Daisy spoke in French and shook her head in disbelief. "Cheryl! I thought we talked about this before!"

"I know-I know but it seems like-" Whimpered Cheryl, looking away. "You're listening to her advice more than mines."

"Oh, Cheryl...it's because I didn't tell you about what I wanted?" Asked Daisy softly, putting her hands on her shoulder.

Cheryl bit her lips and nodded. "I can't believe you didn't tell me and instead, lie to me. It hurt my feelings, greatly, Dai."

"I'm such a bad friend." Sighed Daisy, who now looked away in shame. "I'm so sorry, Cheryl-it's that I didn't know how to tell you..."
