THE WEATHER OUTSIDE WAS PERFECT FOR TODAY. The sun was out, and the temperature was cool for early spring. The fresh roses swayed in the garden while the gardeners worked on other plants in the greenhouse. Cheryl Blossom sat with Toni and Nana Rose at a table that the butlers had set up for them.

She knew that everyone who worked for her family was a bit conscious of Toni, but Cheryl ignored it—knowing that they will never tell her parents as Nana Rose had told them they couldn't say a word or else.

Cheryl couldn't express how much she loves Nana Rose—Her grandma reassured her that she will like Toni no matter what. She had even prepared this whole lunch for them, along with the new dress that Cheryl was wearing. A smile formed on her face, remembering how Toni had told her that she looked beautiful.

Toni was dressed in her purple skirt and white blouse. Her faded pink hair was stuck into a side bun that Cheryl could instantly recognize that Chanel had done for her. The girl looked gorgeous in the sunlight as the light shone on her dark skin.

She shook her head and glanced back at her salad. Cheryl took a bite of her Caesar salad before wiping her mouth on a napkin. Cheryl looked at Toni, who anxiously ate her lunch while her legs trembled.

Cheryl bit her lips and softly nudged Toni, causing her to blush. She raised an eyebrow at Toni.

"Are you okay, TT?" Whispered Cheryl. "You're shaking."

"I'm sorry—I'm just nervous," Stammered Toni quietly, clasping her hands together. "Your grandma hasn't said anything in the past couple of minutes and it's super awkward."

Cheryl half-smiled and quietly reassured, "Don't worry, Nana Rose just likes to eat in quiet—when she's done, she'll talk. It's okay, Toni, just eat."

"Oh, okay," Nodded Toni, and Cheryl looked down at Toni's uneaten salad. Toni quietly said, "I can't—"

"Antoniette," Said Nana Rose, causing them to look at her. She smiled, "How are you? Cheryl has told me a lot about you."

They both blushed. Cheryl sheepishly looked away and remembered how she had stayed past her bedtime, telling her Nana Rose about Toni and how amazing she was. Oh, Cheryl hopes that Nana Rose doesn't pull up their discussion—

"Oh she has?" Blushed Toni, glancing at her, then said, "I hope she has said a lot of nice things about me."

"She has," Smiled Nana Rose, clasping her hands together. "She told me how you guys met at the beginning of the school year?"

Toni's eyes widened before nodding, "Yes, uh, we met, uh, after school but we didn't know each other's names. Luckily, we bumped into each other and I got her name."
