SHE MISSED THE PINK-HAIRED IF SHE HAD TO ADMIT IT, but Cheryl already did admit to missing the girl, so there was no point. Toni Topaz hasn't been at school for the past three days, and it's making Cheryl go insane-and Toni doesn't even know that!
Cheryl didn't know what to do as she couldn't go into the Southside-it was dangerous, and she hadn't dared to enter that territory since that night, but she would do it for Toni, she would-was that crazy to do for a friend?
"Cher?" Frowned Daisy, snapping out her gaze. "You alright?"
"Yeah..." Said Cheryl, non-chant.
"Cheryl," Daisy's stern voice snapped her out of her thoughts, and she rolled her eyes at the widened-eye girl. "This is about that girl-Toni Topaz?"
Cheryl blushed and nodded her head a little bit. "Yes, I'm worried about her, Daisy."
A tiny sigh escaped out Daisy's mouth, and she shook her head. "You really cared about her-that Toni Topaz girl?"
"Shush! Get your voice down!" Scolded Cheryl, furrowing her eyebrows at Daisy, then she felt her heart drop at what she had said.
She instantly felt bad for hiding Toni and pretending like she didn't know the girl, but Cheryl already knew that if she stated that Toni was her friend-she would be outcast from befriending the "new black poor girl" from the Southside, but what do you expect from Cheryl Blossom?
"What?" Asked Chanel, her head perked up next to Cheryl. "What are we talking about?"
Daisy and Cheryl were sitting in the middle of the cafeteria, with Kathleen, Chanel, and other popular kids that were apart of their inner circle. Cheryl had returned back to the table after spending weeks in the art room-she was sat next to Chanel, the only person she actually liked being around.
"Nothing-nothing!" Mumbled Cheryl, her cheeks turning red. "You didn't hear anything, Chanel!"
Chanel cocked an eyebrow at Cheryl and shook her head softly. "Cheryl, I've been your friend since you're fourteen-I know you, so what is it?"
"It's nothing!" Said Cheryl, then she looked at Daisy for help. "Dai?"
Dai just shook her head and chuckled. "We knew you too well, Cheryl-you can't hide anything from us."
Chanel's eyes glimmered as she fist-pumped with Daisy, then she looked back at Cheryl. "Yes, Daisy is right- I know you too well, now what is it?"
Her cheeks reddened, and Cheryl looked away, not wanting to spill on Toni, but it wasn't like Chanel wasn't the snitch type, and she would actually keep the secrets that she had been told to the grave. Chanel was a sweetheart if you get to know beneath the layers of diamonds glittering on her neck.
