Chapter Forty Four: Love Proposal∞ ₒ ˚ ° 𐐒𐐚 ° ˚ ₒ ∞
CHERYL WAS NEVER THE TYPE TO PLAYFULLY MESSING WITH SOMEONE'S FEELINGS. It was never in her blood to do such a thing—teasing someone and led them on till they didn't know what their feelings were. But apparently, Cheryl Blossom was that kind of person...
With all the flirting, one must think that Cheryl was such a tease, and that was kinda true. She never thought that she would be the type in her life—but there were always first—such as dates.
Valentine's Day was coming up, and Cheryl was planning to ask Toni out on a date...? She didn't know if that was the idea in mind, but it was something like that. All her friends had someone to spend Valentine's Day with—besides Freya, who doesn't mind being single—except for her.
Cheryl has always been a hopeless romantic and dreamt of holding hands with someone in the hallways, kissing in the morning, and cuddling in the cold—or someone in general who she would love her for who she was.
She had a couple of boyfriends in the past, but they would never feel the one for her—not only that, her parents didn't like any of her boys that she brought home. Cheryl bit her lips—already knowing how her parents would act if she brought a girl home...
Anyways, Cheryl usually hangs out with her friends for Valentine's Day, but it seems like all her friends were taken this year. Ugh. She means she could just be a fourth wheel or whatever—but there was no fun in that.
Toni definitely can make this Valentine's Day unforgettable one if you get what Cheryl was trying to say—She popped a deep red cherry from her container into her mouth, biting her lips at Toni. Freya laughed beside her.
"Cheryl," Asked Freya, amused. "Why are you making this way harder than it should be?"
"What do you mean?" Asked Cheryl, facing Freya with a raised eyebrow. "Hmm?"
"I'm talking about Toni," Laughed Freya. "It's so tiring, watching you guys ignore your feelings and wondering if you guys like each other or not!"
Cheryl blushed and said, "I'm not ignoring anything, Freya."
Freya snorted. "That's not what I see—I see the obviousness in front of me and I have perfect vision, Cheryl."
"Well, maybe you need to get some glasses," Smirked Cheryl. "You're just probably seeing things."
"Am I?" Questioned Freya. "Honestly, Cheryl, you need some new glasses. The ones you wear aren't working."
"I don't wear my glass though..." Said Cheryl, remembering how she usually leaves her glasses sat on her bedside table. "Well, not at school anyways."
