Chapter Fifty Two: Differ Thinking∞ ₒ ˚ ° 𐐒𐐚 ° ˚ ₒ ∞
EVERYONE WAS TALKING ABOUT THE PARTY AND CHERYL HATED IT. She was never one for parties because it dealt with drugs, alcohol, and those wild games that ended in the closet. Parties always ended horribly for her, and she didn't want anything happening to her friends like last time.
But it was so hard to say no to Kathleen after knowing the girl locked herself in her room and cursed herself out because of Sam—Her jerk of ex-boyfriend—Cheryl went along with the idea of hosting a party.
She and the others knew that it was a horrible idea for 'The Diamond' to host a party. They were worried about Kathleen. Yet, everyone knew that Kathleen would be annoyed if she knew that her friends were concerned with her, so they just kept their mouths shut.
Nevertheless, they planned the party like it was their last because Kathleen wanted to make it perfect. So, they currently sat at the edge of Katheleen's four-poster bed with notebooks scattered around them.
"Kathleen, do we have to plan for the party?" Whined Daisy. "I just want to have a normal sleepover, where we talk about things—I don't know! Just something besides party planning!"
"Me too," Sighed Freya. "I love you, Kath, but I thought we're going to have a sleepover...I'm really hungry too."
Kathleen looked at her friends with a frown. Cheryl bit her lips while looking down at Toni. She squeezed her girlfriend and kissed the top of her forehead, causing Toni to blush.
"Kath," Said Chanel softly, seeing Kathleen's expression. "I know that you're worried about the party but just relaxed, okay? Everything is going to be fine—Just have some fun like you always do at a sleepover."
Kathleen just seemed hesitant but with the pleading, tired look on her friends and nodded. A smile formed on Cheryl's face, and she snuggled Toni furthermore, knowing that her girlfriend might fall asleep soon.
"Okay!" Smiled Kathleen, putting the notebooks away. "So, does anyone have anything to say? Hmm?"
"Well, uh, fuck," Said Daisy, feeling the attention on her then sighed, "I think I'm in love with Irene but I-I don't know—"
Daisy's cheeks had turned crimsoned from her words, and she sheepishly buried her head in her hands. Cheryl watched as she and her friends grinned at Daisy's words, and Kathleen squealed.
"Ahh, you guys are adorable!!" Exclaimed Kathleen. "Dai, I'm so happy for you!! There's nothing to be embarrassed about!"
"Kath's right," Smiled Chanel, clasping her hands. "There's nothing to be ashamed of being in love with Irene—She's an amazing girl, Daisy."
