LA tour

Hyeyoon looks outside the window and frowns, it's cloudy and quite windy outside. She starts packing up her bag for the day, as she is going out with Alex in a bit.

Alex has been actively approaching her recently, and today is the day he promised to show her around the town.

"I hope it's not going to rain." She hates going out when it's raining. She is a little annoyed, nothing seems to go to the way she wants.

Hyeyoon lets out a small sigh as she puts on her favorite ear ring. She looks at the reflection on the mirror and talks to herself. "I am going out with a guy today, why am I still thinking about you?". She fixes her bang and leaves the house.

Hyeyoon walks out of her apartment building and Alex is already waiting outside. He opens the car door for her and gestures her to get inside.

Hyeyoon nods at him and gets into Alex's car. She notices that he had purposely tidied up his car, although it still looks a bit messy. She appreciates the effort he has put in but she can't help but look at the torn take out bag underneath his car seat.

Alex gets into the driver side and smiles at her. "Betty, I know this famous restaurant nearby, it's only 15 minutes drive from here. Let's have lunch there, and then we can go to visit Hollywood walk of fame after."

"Sure." Hyeyoon smiles politely at him.

Hyeyoon and Alex sit down at a BLT sandwich restaurant, they are famous for their large portion sandwich.

"Betty, what do you want to get? I heard this place they give you big piece of beef patty!"

Hyeyoon is not a big fan of beef and she is currently on diet, but she doesn't want to disappoint Alex. "Umm....I feel like eating chicken today. I think I will get the grilled chicken sandwich and an ice tea."

They talked a bit while waiting for the food. "You seemed to have a lots in your mind lately, are you missing home?" Alex asks.

"Ar.....yes, a little bit. I think I still need more time to adjust to the lifestyle here. You know I have never live in another country before. It's a bit tough."

"Yes, take as much time as you want, you will love it here. And who knows, you may meet a guy and end up settling down here."

Hyeyoon raises her brows, she totally gets what he is trying to say to her. "Haha.....it's possible." She feels that Alex is getting a little pushy here, but she keeps telling herself that she needs to be open minded. She thinks to herself. "Hyeyoona, you are starting fresh here, you should be trying new things, learning new stuff and....meeting new guys, don't get hung up in the past! Alex is a nice person.....you should at least give him a chance to get to know him."

Hyeyoon keeps nodding to herself as Alex calls her. "Betty.....Betty are you ok?"

"Ar.....I am sorry Alex, I was thinking about something...where were we?"

"Our lunch is here." Alex points at the food.

"Oh right! They serve really first." Hyeyoon takes a bite at her chicken sandwich. She is surprised how good it tastes. "Wow, the chicken is really soft and juicy, I love it."

"I know you will like it!" Alex smiles with satisfaction all over his face.

Hyeyoon thinks to herself again. "See! New things is not bad. You just have to try it. Right, you need to keep trying."

Hyeyoon's phone rings, it's Seolhyun. She is surprised as its way past midnight in Seoul. She excuses herself and picks up Seolhyun's call. "Hey Seolhyun, why are you still up?"

"Surprise! I came to LA for the fashion show here. I want to see you!" Seolhyun says on the other end of the phone.

"What? You are here in LA? Oh my god! Where are you now?"

"I just finished the schedule for today, I am going to the Hollywood walk of fame in about an hour, do you wanna join?"

"Yes, yes, yes! I will meet you there. Bye.". Hyeyoon is getting too excited by the news, she rushes back into the restaurant and grabs her bag.

"I am really sorry, Alex. My best friend just called, she is in town for today. I need to go meet her. I am sorry I have to cut today short, I am really really sorry, I have to go now."

"Oh.......it's......okay." Alex forgets to react for a second.

"Bye, I will see you next week."

"Ar.....have fun with your....." Hyeyoon is gone before Alex can finish his sentence.

Hyeyoon arrives the famous Hollywood walk of fame, she is supposed to be here with Alex, but she is so happy that she gets to see Seolhyun here instead.

She looks around and finally sees Seolhyun, she waves at her. Seolhyun waves back at her with a big smile. As she gets closer to Seolhyun, she notices two familiar faces are approaching Seolhyun as well. They are so tall, she can never miss them. Hyeyoon freezes as soon as she sees them.

"Hey Hyeyoon, it's good to see you in LA." Inseong takes a bite at the chocolate ice cream cone before handing it over to Seolhyun.

"Oppa, I didn't know you come too." Hyeyoon can hear her own heartbeat from a mile away. She thinks she is having a nervous breakdown right now.

"Yes, we all come for the fashion show. I am sorry I didn't buy you the ice cream, I didn't know you would come that early." Inseong turns to Rowoon. " Rowoona, why don't you give yours to Hyeyoon? Hyung will buy you one next time."

Hyeyoon takes a step back and waves her hands, she is looking down to his shoes, too afraid to face him. "I am okay, he loves ice cream...."

Rowoon takes her hand and speaks softly "Here, have it." He puts the ice cream onto her hand. "It's your favorite strawberry flavour and......... Hi."

Hyeyoon finally have the courage to meet his gaze. "Hi, long time no see."

A/N:

Ok, I wasn't planning to write this, it's supposed to be the final chapter, but I kept changing my mind.  Originally I only planned to write around 15-20 chapters, I don't know how I got here.  Anyway, ending is coming soon, I promised.

This is the first story I wrote, I kinda enjoyed it, so I started writing another one.  It's not published yet, cause I only have a few ideas.  Any suggestions?
