Chapter 34: They're back!

POV ni Paris

Magiisang linggo na mula nang umuwi kami galing Palawan. I have been busier at work because of the Christmas season.

It's the first week of December and reservations of events are quite waving.

"Hi."

"Oh, hi there." I answered as Tristan sat down in front of my desk.

Alam na rin ng mga kasama ko sa trabaho yung about samin. Medyo nagulat pa nga sila na magex pala kami. Good thing they didn't dare fuss about it.

I lifted my head to look at him, he smiled.

Eversince our last day in Palawan, we've been a lot more comfortable with each other. Gaya nlng ngayon, basta na lang syang pumasok sa office ko. Di man lang kumatok.

"What?" I asked when he didn't speak. He was just there, staring.

"Busy?" He inquired.

"Quite." I shrugged. I showed him the papers I was currently reviewing.

"Come on. Take a break. Let's have lunch first." He said.

"Sorry. Kailangan na kasi to ngayong alas dos e."

"Let's have dinner later, then."

"Fine." I didn't dare argue. Knowing him, di ako mananalo.

"See you later." He kissed my forehead then went out of the room.

That was when Margaux entered. She was looking at me with that kinikilig face.

"Ano?" I asked. Blushing.

"Ang swerte mo, mam." Pinandilatan ko sya. "By the way, may bisita po kayo. Raine daw po."

I was stiffened. Raine? Anong kailangan nya?

"Let her in." I took a deep breath and waited for the door to open.

When the door opened, I saw her, she's still beautiful like she didn't age since then.

She's wearing a black body hugging dress.

I frowned when I saw her carrying a. . . . .child? A baby girl. And a very cute one at that.

"Hi. Paris."

"H-hi. Please sit down." I don't know why pero kinakabahan ako. Maybe because it's the first time since then na makakausap ko sya.

"Paris, di na ko magpapaligoy ligoy, please. Stay away from Tristan. Kahit para na lang sa bata na to."

I swear, I felt my heart came out of my soul. I was stiffened for almost a minute.

Bakit nga ba hindi ko na naisip yon? Lumayo sakin si Tristan non at malamang natuloy ang kasal nila ni Raine. My shoulders slumped. I looked down. I was surprised, and. . . .hurt. Again.

I was on the verge of crying when I heard her laugh.

"Paris, seriously!? Naniwala ka sa sinabi ko?"

"W-what?" I asked.

"Joke lang yon! Noon pa man, alam ko nang hindi para sakin si Tristan, at ako naman ay para kay. . . ."

"Troy!?" I was surprised when he went in.

"Sorry nalate ako. Dumaan pa kasi ako sa site e."

My jaw fell.

Oh. What's happening!?

"Paris! I missed you!" Troy said then he kissed my cheeks. He's still as sweet as ever.

"Kamusta ka na?" He asked.

"Teka nga lang!" I said then stood up. "Can you please explain what's happening first? One second, Raine went in saying she had a daughter with Tristan. Now you're here saying sorry you're late?"

Troy took a killing look at Raine. She just shrugged. "What? I was just teasing her!" Then they both laughed.

"Hey!" I called them.

Kinuha ni Troy ang bata kay Raine before he started explaining.

"This is Nikki by the way. Anak namin ni Raine."

"Oh." That was all I can say.

We talked for almost an hour. Kaya pala sila nandito is because they wanted me to personally manage the first birthday of Nikki next week na dito rin sa hotel gaganapin.

Nikki is their first baby. They got married two years ago in LA, California.

They look very happy together. To think na para silang aso't pusa noon.

Raine got her own botique for women while Troy is already an engineer!

Ang dami kong namiss na pangyayari sa buhay nilang dalawa.

Pareho na silang successful ngayon sa kanilang mga career, masaya pa sila sa relasyon na meron sila na may bonus pang cute na cute na Nikki.

Ako kaya, kelan sasaya ng kagaya nila?

AN: Short update lang to. I just wanted Raine and Troy back.. Well, with their Nikki.

Hmm. What about Lucas and Nikki together? :)
