A few years later...

The woman stumbled into the streets, running from the people who were trying to kill her.

She collapsed in an alley, looking at the blood on her hands.

She put her hands on her head, her body shaking.

Why were these people after her? What had she done? Maybe they mistook her?

But no. She looked at the blood on her hands again. She didn't know much but she knew normal people couldn't do what she just did.

A shadow drenched the alley. She looked up finding a young boy.

"Are you okay, Miss?"

She shuddered. "I don't know."

"What's your name?"

He looked down.

Pranpriya! Lisa! Die!

"I think... I think it's Lisa?"

The boy smiles cheerfully. "What a coincidence! Let me help you."

The woman looked up at the boy. "Help... me?"

"I'm sure you're hungry. My mom makes the best food."

The woman casted a glance at her hands again. "You shouldn't invite strangers to your house," He murmured.

"Well, you're not a stranger anymore. Besides we have very strong people to protect us."

Lisa stood, clenching her jaw. "I... I need help. But I don't have any money. Can your mother... fix wounds?"

The boy nodded. "My mom can do anything."

"Then... please. Take me to see her. I don't know how much longer I can go like this."

The boy smiled, taking her hand. "Sure! Though, mom won't be happy at first. You're the first person I've taken home. Before you there was a rabbit, a hamster, a lady, a baby, a rooster, a goat..."

As the boy prattled on about the things, he'd taken home he probably shouldn't have, Lisa focused on the boy's tiny hand.

And how the blood from her hands, has sullied the boys.

And that meant something from her.

But he didn't know what.

"What's your mom's name?"

"Well, she used to be called Ruby Jane. But now she's Ruby Jane Kim."
