Lisa couldn't move. She couldn't move. Her mind was swirling.

"And so the Demon dies. The end," The woman grinned. "Your son will not even know you existed."

"Do not speak of my son! And you will pay for touching him!"

She grinned. "So you care for the boy? I must admit he's charming. I was going to kill him, but... he's s brave."

The woman presses the gun against her forehead. She smirked. "Haven't we been here before? You can't kill me that way; sister.

"Oh I know. But I also know that no one who's ever met or heard of you, will help you. And without your memory, you will wander cursed, not even knowing why people despise you."

Lisa grinned. "I don't care about your pathetic prattling. Do whatever you wish to do.

"The great demon. You're so cocky," She spat, her own accent shining through.

"I'm no demon. I'm nobody. No arrests. No conviction. I've never seen the inside of a courtroom. But you... I wonder how America would feel harboring a terrorist?"

Lisa smirked. And though she had the gun she faltered.

"With the feeling of xenophobia, and the alleged collusion with Russia- do you think they'll pin it all on you? Will they send you back? Or will they charge you here? You know what they'll do?"

"They'll have you on death row before you can blink and all it takes it one phone call. You are, after all a convicted terrorist. And didn't you stand accused for cyber crimes too? Perfect scapegoat! Everyone wins!"

She shook in her place. "You wouldn't dare. Sister-"

"You know me well enough. They're already on the way."

She sneered, pulling the trigger. Lisa smirks, her head flying back.

Oh well. This wouldn't be the first time.

Lisa opened her eyes breathing deeply.

"My son," She rasped. Jennie rushed to her side.

"What did you say?"

"My son. Where is he?"

She smiled. "We don't have a son. Oh dear, you need more medicine don't you?"

She sat beside her, putting her head on her chest. She instantly relaxed, putting her arms around her.

"Yes, Jennie. I think I do. I'm having very vivid nightmares. Please. Make me better."

She smiled at her, brushing her soft hair. "Of course. First, take a shower. And then I'll come in with the medicine and you'll be fine."

She smiled. "I'm so glad I have you to help me. But what can I do for you?"

"Just take your medicine. When you're better, you'll do everything you need to do."

She nodded. Jennie stood up, helping her up. She was a little weak, and heavier then she looked.

"There we go," She huffed, helping her into the shower.

"Can I take a bath instead?" She asked.

"No," She answered. "It's best if you take a shower. Hold on to the railings."

She nodded, taking her word.

"I have to fix dinner for us. But if you need something- yell my name."

Lisa stopped at the door, hesitantly kissing her head. "Thank you for everything Jennie."

She smiled. "Of course." She helped her undress.

She looked down at her own body in confusion. "Why am I so scarred?"

"You had a very tough childhood," She answered. In truth, she didn't quite know.

"Is that why you don't talk about my parents?"

"That's right," She hummed. "They were very bad people. It makes me sad to think about them, and how they hurt you."

"Oh. Okay."

She turned on the shower and she shut the door. Then she hurriedly got Taehyung up and called Jisoo.

"She remembered Taehyung. Get here now."

"Mom where are you taking me?"

"You're going to stay with auntie Jisoo for a while."

"Why?"

"Because it's safe."

Jisoo pulled up, with a screech as Jennie hurriedly packed Taehyung's bag with clothes, washcloth, toothbrush, and anything else she could.

"When am I coming home Mommy?"

She looked at him sadly. "Hopefully in a month. Mommy loves you very much."

She hugged him carrying him to the car, where Jisoo had a car seat.

She put him inside, talking to Jisoo.

"Listen, he doesn't like broccoli but put it in a casserole, and he'll eat it. Also, give him plenty of milk. Ask I'm about his day after school. If the teacher was mean tell him-"

"I'll take care of him. But hurry up and go. She won't stay in the shower forever."

She started cooking on the stove, holding back her tears.

"Jennie! I need your help!"

She wiped her eyes, coming to her side. She helped her out of the shower. Helped her dress. She served her food. She ignored the smell this time.

"It's time for your medicine."

She stood on her own. "Actually I feel better! I don't think I need as many doses. Can we go to the doctor?"

"No. The doctor prescribed this medicine for you. You have to take it three times a day. Or you won't get better."

"But I feel better!" She agrued.

"Because you're taking the medicine!" She yelled back.

"Why do you want me to be on medicine, don't you want me to get better!"

"I do!" She smiled. "I do. I want you to get better. Come here. Give me... give me a kiss."

She frowned. "A kiss?"

She smiled. "I'm your wife."

She leaned in, pressing her lips against hers.

She smiled. Pulling back.

"You're my wife?"

She nodded. "I'm your wife."

"Then why does it feel like I'm your child? Or you're my master?"

She ran her fingers through her hair. "Because I"m taking care of you. You're very independent. Just let me take care of you, okay?"

She nodded slowly. "Okay, Jennie. I'll let you take care of me."

But she felt something was off. She was missing something. Something big. And wasn't there a boy? A young boy who looked like her, and who had her eyes?

Who brought her here? Or was that a dream too?
