Somewhere in a dark bunker...
"She left, alive? Again?"
The man bowed his head. "The girl is cautious. She plans for every possible variable-"
"That's impossible!" A voice roared.
"And she will. But we can't. Can't afford it. She burned her father and mother. She stabbed her brother. She is ruthless."
"So I'm supposed to sit here. And watch her take over the world?"
"It won't get that far. We will kill her. And everyone she loves."
The man sighed, holding the woman in her arms as she looked down.
"Are you feeling guilty again?"
"I can't help but feel that there's another way. Do we have to kill her child?"
"I know. I know it sounds monstrous," He assured her. "But we've done the math. If she reproduces. Especially with her, there will be no end to her brutal reign."
"But it's a helpless baby-"
He put his hands on her cheeks. "That will grow up. Under her or her father. Babies don't stay babies. Look at ours."
She smiled. Their son babbled, bumbling about. '"He's so grown now."
"And he'll keep growing. But if we don't eliminate her, and any offspring she has, our baby will never be safe. She will never stop haunting us."
She knew he was right. He was a dog to a bone. His vengeance, his anger, hatred knew no bounds.
They had marked. Marked by the devil.
"Fine. Let's do this."
