Lisa awoke to Jennie's face smiling down at her softly. She smiled up at her, happy to see her.

"Good morning, Lisa"

She sat up, but she stopped her. "Before you get up, take your medicine."

She swallowed, taking the pill she gave her. She could smell something. It made her want to throw the pill away, just like the drink Jennie had given her.

But Jennie was her wife. She had to trust her. Right? She wouldn't be trying to harm her. Besides, normal people couldn't smell poison. She was just overeaction probably.

She nodded dutifully. "I don't want to cause you trouble, Jennie. I will take my medicine."

She smiled. She was giving her five types of poison throughout the day, it was small amounts.

She shouldn't be able to last long. A month at the most, she thought. Jisoo agreed.

"Did we have a big wedding? Do you know my parents? Why are we in America if we were in Russia? Are you-"

"Shhh! So many questions! Just give it time."

She smiled anxiously. "Sorry. It's just a blank hole in my heart, I have many questions."

She nodded. "I'll answer then all. In time. For now. Rest."

Her eyes closed as if on command. She couldn't move her body. Why couldn't she-
