Pranpriya played at the small playground near his new house. His mom didn't know he had left, but he saw a girl there and wanted to play with her.

She was sitting on the swings alone too, and he sat next to her.

"Hello. My name is Pranpriya. I'm seven. What's your name?"

"I'm Joy. I'm six."

He frowned. "Have I seen you before? I feel like I've met you?"

She shook her head. "No. My Dad hates Pranpriya. He says Pranpriya is the Devil."

Pranpriya shrunk back. "It was my mom's name. She's dead."

The little girl nodded. "Oh sorry."

"Why? You didn't kill her did you?"

She shook her head. He smiled widely.

"I would like to be friends Joy."

She frowned. "I-I dunno. My dad says strangers are dangerous and your name is Pranpriya."

"My name is also Taehyung. If you want; you could be friends with me instead?"

"Taeyang?"

He shrugged. "Close enough. You could call me V. I always wanted to be called V but my mom won't call me it."

"I'll call you V and you can call me J!" The girl smiled.

"J and V," He repeated. "That kinda rhymes. Say, since our names rhyme why don't we get married."

"I don't think that's why people marry each other."

He shrugs. "Seems like a cool reason, but okay. What kinda games do you like to play?"

She tapped her chin. He smiled.

"I like playing dragons, and knights, and barbies and also, dress up. But I like to be a knight and sometimes a princess."

"Woah! You could be anything!" He said astounded.

Joy lifted her chin. "I could. Last week I was a doctor. But I think I wanna go to the moon."

"Can I come?" Taehyung asked with a sparkle in his eyes.

Joy nodded. "Oh yeah. You can't go to the moon by yourself. We'll go to the moon together."

Taehyung smiled widely. "I can't wait! My mom has a box from our new fridge! We could make it a space ship!"

She smiled widely. "That sounds fun!"

Taehyung looked at the sky. "It's getting dark. I should get home. You should too. Mom says people want to do bad things to children and never be by yourself."

Joy suddenly looked scared.

"If you want, I can help you go home. Since you're a knight, I can be your back up!"

She smiled. "Okay! I don't live far."

He stood and took her hand. "Lead the way, J!"

They walked hand in hand down the road, chatting about things, wondering if unicorns existed, talking about their favorite cartoons.

"You know my Mom loves unicorns?" Taehyung suddenly says, Joy giggles

When they got to her house, he waved.

"Bye J!"

"Will you be okay?" Joy called worried. "You helped me, but now you're alone."

He smiled. "Oh don't worry. I'm not alone! I have a dragon watching me."

She frowned. "I don't see it!"

"She's my imaginary friend. We have the same name, but sometimes she tries to help me. She won't let anything happen I'm sure."

Joy nodded. "Okay! I'll see you at the park tomorrow!"

He waved. "Okay! Bye J!"

Taehyung skipped home.

He had a new friend at his new house. And her name was J. She could do anything.

He looked up, frowning. "Better hurry. Mom will be mad at me."

"He's nothing like me," Lisa remarked

"I didn't say he was you. He's just prone to some of the same mistakes."

Lisa sighed. "And that J... that's the girl isn't it?"

"Can't you tell? He's taken with her already. Unlike most puppy loves though, this will not go away. He falls in love with that girl."

"Will they end up like me and Jennie," Lisa croaked.

"I don't know. But I can tell you, that they have a chance to be happy. And that's something you didn't have."

Lisa watched the boy go into his house. Jennie came into her sights. She was beautiful even now.

She reached out her hand, wanting to touch her, just once. Her heart agonized.

"Jennie... beautiful Jennie..." She whispered painfully.

And unwittingly, she said something softly. Something she'd always seemed to say to her.

"Don't Go."
