The Impossibles followed Dr Futuro into the 40th century to get the gold brick he stole back. While looking for him, Fluid Man comes across the Sirens, imprisoned behind energy walls. Suddenly, Water Witch starts forcing her way out, much to her friends protests. The energy wall is hurting her, burns are all over her skin as she continues to force herself forward. Once she's free, she collapses from exhaustion and pain, Fluid Man instinctively catching her before she hits the ground. He gets a good look at her, even with burns marring her skin, she looks beautiful. Her eyes, behind oval glasses and blue goggles, are closed and her breathing is shallow, she needs help or her life would slip away.
Flexi Girl: Oh, no! *To Sonic Boom* Do you remember the lyrics to the Healing Incantation.
Sonic Boom: Yeah. *To Fluey* You have to sing it, though.
Fluid Man: What?
Flexi Girl: You'll see. You have to be holding her hair while you sing it.
Fluid Man: *confused, but holds the end of her medium length blonde hair* Alright, now what?
Sonic Boom: You have to sing her Healing Incantation until she's healed
Flexi Girl: ...I don't know if it'll work... She's never healed anything like this before...

He repeats the song as her hair glows from roots to tip, not stopping until the burns are gone and her breathing is back to normal. Her friends sigh in relief, as does Fluid Man. A soft groan escapes her blue lipsticked mouth as she comes to, flickering her eyes open. She's still too weak to move, so Fluid Man carries her. After the Impossibles have freed the other Sirens and beat Dr Futuro, the take the girls back to their time.
