The Impossibles were hanging out together near a reef. Suddenly, they hear a beautiful, haunting voice, backed up by two equally haunting voices that were vocalizing.
Flo: 🎵Moon river, wider than a mile. I'm crossing you in style, someday. Dream maker, you heartbreaker. Wherever you're going, I'm going your way.🎵
Fluid: *flicking his lime green tail to stay aloft* You fellas hear that?
Multi: *keeping his red and black eel tail moving* We sure do, Fluey.
Coil: *curling and uncurling his purple seahorse tail* I've never heard voices like that.
The boys investigate, following the voices like they were in a trance. They find three mermaids singing to a group of Snorks and an adorable little octopus. Two of them have regular tails, but the chubby redhead has a lavender Seahorse tail. Neither, the mermaids nor the Snorks haven't noticed the boys yet.
Flo: *flicking her blue tail* 🎵Two drifters, off to see the world. There's such a lot of world to see. We're after the same rainbows end, waitin' 'round the bend, my Huckleberry friend, moon river and me.🎵
Occy, the octopus, notices them by now and greets them with happy face licks. The little octopus's barking catches the girls attention and breaks the boys trance.
Flo: *giggles and holds out her hand for Occy to sit in* I think he likes you.
Fluid: *blushing, staring at the blonde mermaid with the blue tail* I'm Fluid, my pals call me Fluey.
Flo: *gently petting Occy* I'm Flo, it's nice to meet you.
Multi: *eyes locked on the brunette mermaid with the purple tail* I'm Multi.
Skye: *holding the Snorks in her cupped hands* I'm Skye.
Coil: *staring at the seahorse tailed redhead* I'm Coil.
Flexi: *curling and uncurling her lavender Seahorse tail* I'm Flexi.
All-star: It's nice to meet you guys, I'm All-star. *Pointing to the Happy octopus that's still getting pet* That's my pet, Occy.
Cassie: I'm Cassie, pleasure to meet you.
Corky: *saluting* Corky, at your service. *He points at Tooter* This is Tooter. *Tooter happily toots his Snorkel*
The boys and girls hang out for a while, long after the Snorks took off for home. The two trios obviously liked each other. Fluid was constantly making Flo laugh with his puns, Coil was talking to Flexi about the song Flo had been singing, and Multi was entertaining Skye, making the usually shy mermaid open up to him. Sadly, it was time to leave.
Flo: *giving Fluid a kiss on the cheek, stunning him* Bye, Fluey.
Flexi: *kissing Coil* Bye, Coil.
Skye: *kissing Multi* Bye, Multi.
The girls swim off, leaving the boys stunned by the kiss they got.
