John was looking around a the Studio he was in. His pals were practicing, so he was on his own. He ran into a young woman with (h/l) (h/c) hair, (e/c) eyes, and a puppet on her left hand, her lips are stitched shut. To John's surprise, the puppet starts to talk.
Scout: Hey, big and tall. Names Scout, this is my Host. I don't know her name because she can't talk.
The young woman noticed a thick layer of dust on the wall. She makes a 'one moment' gesture and goes over to it. She writes (y/n) in the dust and points to herself then the name she wrote.
John: Oh, your name is (y/n)? *She nods, smiling as best she can through the stitches* It's nice to meet you, I'm John.
Scout: Well, at least I know your name now.
John: So, what's going on?
Scout summarized what's going on and what they went through. She explained that the puppets were alive from a voodoo spell and we're using Hosts to revive their show and take over the world. And that they had just gotten away from Riley's pet, Roscoe. That Roscoe had once been Riley's pet dog, but now he was a stitched up monster. That Riley had once been a helpful scientist, but now she was a mad scientist, obsessed with testing and dissecting everything from rats to humans.
Scout: ...so we're looking for pieces of this pin *she points to the pin on her shirt, it's missing three pieces* so we can get out of here through Mortimer's stage. You should stick with us so they won't catch you and make you a Host, too.
John: That sounds like a jolly good idea.
(Y/n) nods again, smiling once more as best she can with her lips stitched up. They look around for the pin pieces. As they do, John finds himself getting along with (Y/n) despite the fact that she can't talk. He notices that, dispite the fact that she can't talk, you could pretty much guess what she was thinking based on her expressions. Scout usually shares the same expressions as (y/n). They get all the pieces of the pin and enter the main stage. Mortimer, Riley, and Roscoe are waiting for them. Instinctively, John gets in front of (y/n) and Scout, intending on protecting them. Mortimer invited them to drink tea with them, though Riley wasn't so happy about that. John stays in front of the girls, just in case Riley or Mortimer tried something. Mortimer gave them a sporting chance to escape. They got a head start before Roscoe, who they discovered had Riley stitched up inside him, started after them. At the last door, the mechanism gets jammed and Scout has to get it unjammed. Unfortunately, she gets her arm stuck getting it out. John and (y/n) franticly pull to free her, to their horror, she loses an arm in the process.
Scout: *clearly in pain* Is it bad?
John and (y/n) shake their head, John is unable to answer and (y/n) can't answer because her lips are still stitched up.
Scout: You guys are terrible lyers. Ok, I'm ok. Let's keep going.
They're walking down a long corridor where they can see sunlight. Scout starts talking about living on the surface.
Scout: Do you guys think I'll fit in up there?
John: *as (y/n) nods, with what appears to be a gentle smile* Absolutely, love.
Scout laughs weakly and talks about what she wanted to do up there. The closer they got to the surface, the weaker Scout got. Just before they reached the light, Scout actually dies. Whatever spell that had been on (y/n) goes with Scout. Scout falls off (y/n)'s hand and the stitches vanish from her mouth.
(Y/n): *sadly picking up the limp Scout with tears in her eyes* Oh, Scout...
She hugs the lifeless puppet, crying softly. John hugs her comfortingly, he's an upset as she is. They take the lifeless Scout with them. John introduces the sad young woman and the lifeless puppet to his band mates. The two tell the other Beatles about what happened in the studio. They don't fully understand what happened with Scout, but it's obvious that the two are torn up about her death. (Y/n) sticks with the Beatles. John finds himself falling for (y/n), she's kind and considerate. He shows a genuine sweetness to her and the other Lads love her like a sister.
