Janette was wandering around the library carrying a couple of books in her arms. She's not paying attention to where she's going and bumps into someone, dropping her books. That someone was a young man with long ginger hair tied in a Rattail that covers his eyes, a blue jersey with the number 7 on it, and a bandage on his cheek.
Jay: Geez, sorry, miss. I wasn't paying attention.
Janette: *not looking, she's adjusting her glasses* Oh, it's my fault, I wasn't paying attention.
They start picking up her books when their hands meet. They both look at each other for the first time, their eyes meet and they feel a Zing.
Jay: *blushing* S-sorry... I thought I'd help you with your books.
Janette: *also blushing* Oh... It's alright. That's very sweet of you.
Jay: My name's Jason, but everyone calls me Jay.
Janette: It's nice to meet you, I'm Janette.
He hands her the book and she places both books in a bag she was carrying. They both talk and find they have a lot in common. Jay's nothing but sweet to her, while Janette seems to have endless patience and kindness. She meets his twin brother, Ray, shortly after. Ray catches on to the fact that the two like each other and urges Jay to ask her out. He managed to work up the nerve before she leaves.
Jay: *nervously gulps, blushing again* Hey, Janette?
Janette: Yes?
Jay: I was wondering, if you want to, maybe go out with me?
Janette: *blushing* Oh, I'd love to. *She writes her number down on a piece of paper* Here, so we can talk.
Jay: *takes it and looks at it* T-thanks.
She leaves, smiling and blushing. Ray smiles at his heavily blushing twin.
Ray: See? I told you she'd say yes.
Jay's ignoring his brother, blushing and smiling dreamily.
