It was angry; it was hungry.
When it awoke before, it found itself at the mercy of small beings. Lesser beings.
Never before had it suffered such a humility. A proud warrior being tormented and toyed with by tiny meatlings.
It wanted to escape; it wanted to be free to roam the skies above, and feast on the creatures below.
Alas, the meatlings contained it in a prison that barely let it move.
It was furious, and it was growing impatient. It was growing BORED.
From the grounds above it could hear the winds calling to it, beckoning for it to return to to its domain.
Soon it would. Soon.
After many moons of being trapped, it heard something that interested it, besides the song. It began to hear the sounds of panic, and it smelled something.
It smelled blood.
The smell of which it basked in, a smell it could never mistake. Yes, it was blood that it smelled; blood of the meatlings.
It relished in the smell, and it grew insatiable. It wanted more of the smell. It wanted to tear down its tormentors itself.
Suddenly, a strange sound rang through the hole it was trapped in. Miraculously, it's space became less congested, and it felt the walls around it loosen.
It's prison was being loosened from around it.
It was becoming free.
It thrashed around, and let it's tail swing. All four of its legs stretched, and it's wings expanded. They crashed through the four walls surrounding it, and soon enough it was free at last .
Once it was out of it's confined space it saw things that confused it. It saw metal-beings butchering the meatlings.
It didn't care though, it had no sympathy for the meatlings.
But soon, the metal-beings started firing upon it.
It didn't like that.
It swung it's long, scaly tail through the metal beings, and crushed them with impeccable ease.
It then gobbled one of the metal-beings in its mouth and swallowed it.
The metal-being tasted rank, but it did not care. It was hungry, and it wanted more. It gobbled down some of the dead meatlings, then it barreled through the walls of it surroundings.
It was going to be free to the skies, and it would kill all who tried to keep it from doing so.
