Sanai had no idea what she was thinking at the time. At first, flying out of the building seemed like an excellent idea to her. But as soon as they made it out, she immediately regretted it.
She accidentally propelled them too high into the air, and now they were falling at a rapid speed.
Sanai tried to gain altitude, or at least soften their fall. But the more she tried, the faster they seemed to descend.
They were nearing the ground with each second, and she couldn't seem to bring them any higher.
She made one last attempt to raise them up.
Suddenly they started to fall at more of an angle, and at a lesser speed.
Greg maneuvered himself so he'd take the blow of the fall. Then they crashed to the ground.
Sanai was in a daze; she was flat on her stomach with Greg laying under her.
She was grateful for him softening the fall, but she felt bad he had to do it to begin with.
She didn't even notice she had her breasts in his face until he said something."Funaii", he said, muffled underneath her.
She quickly lifted herself up so he could breathe.
"I'm sorry about the landing", she apologized.
"It wasn't so bad", he said in response.
"Eh, em!", a voice above them called out.
She looked up and saw it was Ernest who was sitting on a rock above them.
"If you two aren't going to fornicate in the sand, I suggest that we head by the others", he said.
'Sand?', Sanai thought you herself.
Sanai looked around and saw that they were in fact surrounded by sand. They were in a desert.
"Where are we?", she asked.
"New Mexico", Ernest replied.
She looked up at him skeptically and asked, "How do you know?" .
"Saw it on a sign a few miles back", Ernest responded. "The guys saw you fly over here, and they sent me to come get you since it somewhat my fault we got spotted. Now if you don't mind, I think Greg would prefer that you get off of him".
Sanai has almost forgotten that she had landed on top of Greg. She scrambled off of him, and helped him to his feet.
"Let's go", Ernest said, as he started leading them back to the others.
Everyone else was unharmed; only Sanai and Greg were filthy, due to their complex landing situation. The group were sitting on a couple of rocks while Drakon was high above flying in circles.
Emerald came rushing to them and crying, "Oh my God, are you guys okay?".
Sanai was being squeezed to death, but she managed to say, "Yeah, we're okay".
"I think you're crushing them Emerald", Irvin called out.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure Sanai is about to die", Lance said.
Emerald let go of them and looked at them, "I'm sorry, but what happened?".
"They were having sex in the sand", Ernest said.
"That is false", Greg retorted.
Sanai shot a menacing look at Ernest, and turned her attention to the others. Her and Greg explained what happened, and why they took so long getting out.
"You okay now Greg?", Ronald asked.
Greg examines himself a bit and said, "Yeah, I'm fine".
"Thank God we're free", Ahmir said as he collapsed to the ground.
Sanai was happy that they were out, but she figured that those robots or someone else would come after them if they stuck around too long.
As if he read her mind Ronald said, "We have to get moving".
"How are we going to get out of here?", Ronnie asked.
"He's gonna' help us", Emerald said, as she pointed upwards to Drakon.
"Cool", Ronnie said in a mellow tone.
"Agreed, I don't think I want to fly anymore", a Ahmir said, as he was still laid down on the ground. Apparently flying took a lot out of him.
Ernest looked a bit confused and asked, "So is he like your pet now?"
Emerald scrunched up her face and said, "No, not a pet. He's more like a buddy".
"A buddy who'll eat us all", Ernest grumbled.
"He won't eat you!", she shot back. "Leave him be!".
Lance stepped in and said, "Leave her dragon-buddy alone,Ernest, he did just save our lives".
Ernest quit arguing about Drakon, but he muttered something under his voice. They couldn't really hear what he said, but they were sure it was 'simp'.
Emerald called out to Drakon. He then flew back down to them, and one-by-one they crawled onto his back.
After everyone was settled onto him he spread his wings and took off.
Emerald sat at the front with Lance right behind her. Sanai noticed that they were starting to get very close.
Sanai sat at the back with Greg behind her. Greg got nervous whenever Drakon flew around too wild, so he wrapped his arms around Sanai.
Sanai didn't mind, but she thought it funny that someone who could rip the beating heart out of a person was still scared of heights. If he was scared of heights he sure didn't show it when he protected her from that fall.
She was grateful for him there for her. Out of all of them, she'd say that she was the most grateful for him.
She ran her hands along Drakon's smooth black scales, and she thought to herself. She kept thinking about how ferocious Greg fought back at the facility.
Something was bothering her though.
She didn't want to bring it up, but she wasn't sure if he even noticed it himself.
She decided to swallow her fear and talked to him."Greg?", she said in a soft voice.
"What's up?", he replied back.
"Do you remember when we were fighting those men in the building? Just the two of us?", she continued.
"Yeah, what about it?", he asked cautiously.
She turned her head so he could see her face, "When you were fighting them, something happened to you".
Greg's eyes widened a bit.
"What happened?", he asked.
"Your eyes", she said nervously. "they turned completely white, and your skin it started to steam".
